The Last Sourcies of the Summer: Best Brother-to-Brother Argument
Hey, other CW shows? If you're competing with Supernatural in a Sourcies category, you might want to just give up now. Once again, Supernatural triumphed in last week's category, Best Fight Sequence (although many of you had issues with WHICH fight sequence we chose!)
Will the trend prove true again this week, when Supernatural battles One Tree Hill? OTH is the only show that has a chance of beating Supernatural -- the Tree Hill gang has proved its staying power by winning its fair share of Sourcies this summer, too.
We'll find out soon! This week, it's a no holds-barred battle. That's because 1) it's the last Sourcies category of the summer (sob!) and 2) we're making two fan favorites fight until the end. The category's Best Brother-to-Brother Argument, so of course, we're featuring the two CW shows with strong brotherly relationships at their core: Supernatural and One Tree Hill.
The competitors:
One Tree Hill: Nathan flips out on Lucas about the point-shaving scandal.
Supernatural: Sam's furious when he finds out Dean kept some major information from him.

This is the competition. Supernatural wins hands down, that had to be the most emotional confrontation between the brothers. OTH is good but that scene cant take down supernatural.

Jared and Jensen have way better chemistry brother-wise with each other than James and Chad. The arguement was way more believeable and hit home more. They had way more raw emotion and it seemed a lot more important and a lot better acted to be honest.

Ok so I watch both of these shows and hands down.. this one goes to SUPERNATURAL... I've watched OTH from the beginning but I gotta say SN is a far better show!

just watching that scene between Dean and Sam gives me chills, even when they argue you can feel the brotherly love those 2 have for each other. It wins my vote hands down.

Even though I didn't think the boys' acting was up to its usual standard in this particular scene, it is still good and is still my number one. Winchester brothers all the way!
The entire episode Tall Tales should have been nominated... different kinds of arguments, I realize, but great all the same.

There is really no comparison really. Don't get me wrong the OTH boys are awesome too, but the fight between Sam and Dean was just too intense not to vote for it! Come SPN fans, lets take this one home! :D

Uh yeah Sam and Dean can not only compare to Nathan and Lucus- they're better than them! A lot better, and they deserve the vote. The argument between them was so raw and emotinal, I'm afraid OTH's overlydramatic "point shaving" arguement just doesn't compare.

I was hoping the final sourcie would be a head-to-head between two of the best TV brothers duel on TV today.
The Winchesters and the Scotts, it doesn't get much better.
And totally fitting since these two shows have ruled the Sourcies this summer.

Supernatural all the way!!! Dean and Sam have the most realistic brother "arguments" even if they are about things like "Dad told you to kill me." They have so much more depth and meaning. OTH cannot compare. GO SPN!!!!!!!

Oh, Supernatural totally gets my vote! Not only do I love the show, but that particular scene was VERY well acted.
I am a little confused as to how this can be the end of The Sourcies though. In the video that was shown at the beginning of the summer called Introducing The Sources! there were four sample categories. We saw Best Kiss, though it actually got labeled Best Stolen Kiss, but we didn't see Best Friends Moment, The Saddest Moment or The Scariest Moment. Why not?
Though I don't think there could have been any contest for The Saddest Moment, I mean really, can you get much sadder than that scene? ;)
At any rate, a little bewildered, but I had a lot of fun voting on these and I hope we'll get them next year too.
