Spoiler Scoop on Supernatural
TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has some interesting tidbits on upcoming Supernatural episodes – one that made us cheer, and one that made us scratch our heads. We've got the details after the jump. Don't click if you don't want to know!
First off, Ausiello reveals that Jared Padalecki's real-life main squeeze, actress and former potential Pussycat Doll Sandra McCoy, will be appearing on the show as the Crossroads Demon. Seems Sam summons her to get more details on Dean's deal. That episode is slated to air November 1 – and we can't wait!
Second, another episode will feature the boys going up against a trio of witches. You know how a bunch of you keep bringing up Charmed, either as a good example or a bad one, when you comment on Supernatural? Apparently Kripke and Co. want to explore that. Oof.
What do you think of the news? Are you looking forward to seeing Jared spar with his sweetie? Do you want to see the Winchester Boys take on the Halliwell Sisters? Share your thoughts in the comments!

I think having Sandra on the show is…misguided. I saw Cry Wolf & Wild Things, and quite frankly the only thing this girl is good for is running screaming whilst scaltily clothed. Wow. Oscar material right there. I know that SN has used actresses of…questionable talent before, but she’s Jared’s girlfriend. I wonder how she got the gig?
As for the witches, I hope they are more like Macbeth and less like the Halliwells. Nothing against Charmed, I watched it with some regularity, but that's just not what SN needs to be about. Boys kicking butt do not need a new batch of hot chicks every week. It gets old.
Note to Kripke should he read this: Seriously, it gets old really fast. Like by the middle of Season 2.

I like the Charmed idea. What about also bring in the slayer? Preferably Sarah Michelle Gellar.

If Sandy can act, I'll be thrilled. If she and Jared can't deliver, then it will have been a total waste of a great character for the sake of some too-cute stunt casting.

Just a clarification, SW -- Sandy isn't a Pussycat Doll, but she was one of the women who auditioned for the show last year. Hence, potential PCD. By all accounts, Sandy is a really cool, sweet and smart woman. Don't give up on her -- or the episode -- yet!

well, disappointing to hear Jared is dating a pussycat doll.....i say the casting notice for the Crossroad demon and was excited because that's a fun character, but now i'm not looking forward to it
i LOVE that they are finally having witches on the show!!!! i would have loved to have played one!i really hope it's old school witches with bubbling cauldron and scraggly hair - not some modern sexy witch nonsense

I think it's fine that Sandy is appearing, but they shouldn't have released promo photos or 'leaked' this out. It makes it look like stunt casting. I don't know if Sandy auditioned or not, but this makes it seem as if she didn't have to, and that's not a good thing.
I wish they had not called any attention to it. Just let the episode air and let people figure it out for themselves. Now no one is gonna focus on her performance or the scene, everyone will just be thinking "Aw aren't they cute together" or something. It seems insulting to her as an actress.
The witches, we'll see.

Guys, the witches aren't going to be like the "see how little I can wear" Charmed Witches. It's not going to be like that at all. Don't worry.
As far as Sandra McCoy is concerned, bring her on. She's darling.

I saw a picture of that episode and thought it was kidna cute that they were appearing together. The thought of the Winchesters knocking out the Halliwells, or wannabes anyway, sounds exciting. Finally puts an end to the whole comparison and stuff. I'm actually excited about both episodes. Can't wait for them!
