Beauty and the Geek: The Fall of Will and Rebecca
We have only one thing to say about Beauty and the Geek this week: Oh hell yeah! We were thrilled to see Nicole start working her geeky magic. No, she didn’t win her challenge, but she won where it counts – in manipulating her partner, the schmucklike Sam. We’re sure we weren’t alone in cheering for her.
We’ve got lots more to say (ok, fine, our first sentence was a lie), but first, we want to give you the opportunity to sound off. Vote in the polls, leave your comments, and tell us what you think!
Now then: We could not believe Sam and Rebecca crawled into bed and started doing bouncy things inthe top bunk while Nicole was asleep in the bottom bunk! That's just not right! Poor Nicole -- we really felt for her. At that moment, we really hoped Rebecca and Will would be booted out of the game.
So we groaned when we saw that the Geek challenge involved massage. Surely Will had this one inthe bag! But no -- Jesse managed to beat him by one point. Yes! (And by the way, was anyone else shocked to see Joshua was one of the three guys who came in second place? Who knew he had it in him!)
The Beauty challenge was to build and launch a model rocket. Sam was the first to assemble his, but he suffered from premature, um, ignition (yeah, yeah, we know: we're 12), but he managed to get it together to win the challenge. The only reason we were glad he wonis because that meant Nicole was staying. But now the problem was, Sam was going to want to put up a team that Rebecca and Will could beat. What to do about that?
And that's where Nicole came into her own. She told Sam what he wanted to hear -- "I think Rebecca and Will can beat Jennifer and William" -- while meaning the opposite. She was sure Jennifer and William could take Rebecca and Will out, thereby simultaneously eliminating a major threat, getting rid of a huge distraction for her partner, and ensuring she'd get a decent night's sleep -- at least, until Sam hooked up with the next beauty...
Next week: makeovers. We can't wait!

Has it been revealed that Sam and Nicole are actors? Because they are... I remember growing up watching movies w/ Sam in them...like Little Giants and Escape to Witch Mountain.

I'm happy they're gone...Will and Rebecca. It was getting to be more like the Will and Rebecca show. One major ?...Does anyone else think Sam looks like a Male version of Ce Ce from last season?
