Mark Your Calendars: One Tree Hill Returns January 8!
Finally, some official OTH news! The CW has confirmed that One Tree Hill will kick off its fifth season on TUESDAY, January 8, with a two-hour premiere. After the big premiere, the show will move to the 9/8c timeslot on Tuesdays following Crowned encores (Reaper will return later in the season). Here's the word from the network:
The fifth season of One Tree Hill will be unprecedented in the annals of television drama, as the show leaps forward four years. Season four ended as the young characters graduated high school and season five begins, post-college, four years later. Some of the characters have found success while others have failed. Some are the same, some are very different. And while their storylines will actively move forward, the show will also dip into the past, returning to incidents and events of the last four years, sometimes for a moment or a scene, other times for an entire episode.
It sounds like we'll be treated to some revealing flashback episodes. But what we want to know most is... who failed!? And who will have changed the most? Also, will the cast have new looks now that we've moved four years in the future? Yes, we're shallow like that, but we love makeovers.

Do u think Peyton and Lucas will get back together or not? IDK I hope they do because they totally belong together. I mean they totally get each other.

i love the new season of one tree hill!!!!!!!! Lucas is still so hot nathan lost himself and peyton brooke and haley look great! lucas and peyton belong together iknow they will get back together! one tree hill is awesome and i love the drama!!!! one tree hill is great! I love it

im watchin the 2 hour premier and im so shocked about what happened 2 nathan but his son is so cute! Lucas is still hot but it wont be the same if he doesnt get back with payton

omg!i love jake if he came back id seriously be sooo happy! i cant wait for the new season but i kinda think they shouldve ended it last season but im hopen itll be good! but yea i agree with that one person oc was my favorite show but the corniness ruined it!

I love OTH I have been watching it forever! I cannot wait to see if Jake comes back too! God, Peyton and Jake's love was real and true. I hope they have their someday.

I love One Tree Hill!!
I am most interested to see which characters are still in contact and friends and if anyone (besides Haley and Nathan) are still in a relationship.
I think this is going to be a great season like season 1 and 2. As long as it stays out of corny plots and storylines (which it kind of dipped into a little last season)(and which is what KILLED the OC) it should be incredible!

ONE TREE HILL IS LIKE AMAZING. I HAVE WATCHED THAT SHOW SINCE EPISODE 1 AND CAN NOT WAIT FOR IT TO START.. I have been waiting like all year and my sister and I even have some of the 4th season on our ipods.. (But, I am more upsessed than my sister..!!). I was alittle disapointed that it's starting in January but it's better than not starting at all.. right? I really hope this show doesn't get affected by the writers strike if it is going on then because that would like make me so upset because most of the shows that I watch are affected and don't play every week.. I am so excited for the 5th season and can't wait to see what's going to happen to the characters. I saw on a video on youtube that Nathan was depressed so he went to a bar and got drunk and had a fight.. I hope that really won't affect him and his family (now that he has one). I hope that Lucas and Peyton stay together, but Lucas and Brooke become more friendly. I hope that Dan is okay, but still will have to suffer the consiquences that he killed his brother Keith..
I have a few questions before the season starts..
Will it be a full 22-episode season?
Will Nathan be okay?
Did Dan get hurt?
How old will James-Lucas-Scott be?
Will Lucas become a writer, or still become that assistant coach for Whitey like it said in the 4th season finale, 'All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone'?

OMG!!! thx CW for keeping OTH! it is by far one of the top 3 shows ever broadcasted on the then WB and I am soooooo extatic to see all these SUPER-FLY actors! OTH ROCKS!!!!!

I can't wait for season 5 to air. I was dissapointed that the college years were skipped. It would have been nice to see how Haley and Nathan are dealing with raising a baby (that's what real life is about; the struggles of parenthood and how to handle day-to-day obstacles.) It would have been nice to see the colleges they picked and how they were dealing with the real world. I'm glad season five is back and I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I want Payton and Lucas to be together because I feel their love is real. I like Brooke but I just felt that she was way too bouncy for Lucas. Good luck to the OTH cast. You guys are doing a great job. Keep it up.

I can't wait until season 5 begins, just a few days before my birthday! I didn't watch the first season and didn't get involved until the second season after I heard about OTH from a friend. Then I was addicted, I bought the first season and now have every season. This show is absolutely amazing and it is the ONE AND ONLY show I actually watch. I don't want hardly any television, this is my one show I can't live without. Lets hope there is more Lucas and Peyton action... they're what the show is about!

I love ONE TREE HILL...
It is amazing. I can't wait to see all of my favorite characters again. Especially Lucas and Peyton, Nathan and Haley and Mr.Cutie: James Scott. I've been watching One Tree Hill since the very first episode, and now I can't wait until season 5 rolls around. And thanx to the CW, I can see what has happened to the main characters of Tree Hill and how they are doing 4 years later. With the new www.cwtv.com/fastforward.

I am so Glad OTH is coming back, but i just hope that they will some how put lucas and Peyton back together. To me thats what the show is about. You take that away you take the show away.

My question is for mark, do you remember when lucas loved brooke to death in season 2-3 and beginning of season 4 ?
