Strikewatch: Smallville Actors Show Their Support
In what is surely bad news for TV and movie producers, Lionel Luthor is on the writers' side. When even Metropolis' most fabulously coiffed scheming billionaire is pulling for the little guys, you know their case is good.
OK, so it wasn't the real Lionel Luthor, but actor John Glover -- along with Michael Cassidy (Grant Gabriel) and Phil Morris (J'onn J'onzz) -- who joined the writers on the picket line. “Others from the cast wanted to be there, particularly Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor), but the show is still in production and most of the cast lives in Vancouver," show co-creator Al Gough told Kryptonsite. "We know they were with us in spirit, as we are all in this together.”
Gough told Kryptonsite that 15 scripts were finished, and as far as he knows, they'll all be produced. "Episode 15 is a cliffhanger," he said. "If there isn't a quick resolution, then the season ends in February. It is our wish that this strike will be resolved quickly so that we can get back to doing what we love -- writing."

The smallville scripts are really really bad...
They don`t know how to write good scripts.
James Masters had the best script in Buffy and Angel!!
They need to learn how to write great scripts for SM!

Well they should look on the bright side, they can think of more silly ways to use Princess Lana during the strike lol. Plus, they can figure out away to explain how Lex's brother is actually alive and how to explain it.
Enough Lex and Lana plot twists. If you're gonna bring someone back bring back Brainiac and have him team up with Super Girl's dad. If the cliffhanger has something to do with Lana, I'm gonna puke. Is this even Lana since she always said she doesn't believe in secrets yet she's a huge liar this season!

i suppport the writers. studios: why shoot yourselves in the foot? even though you claim you aren't making a profit off of internet downloads, you still are receiving something. can you at least agree to a percentage of whatever you get? i've read reports that you receive 4 cents per download. why not share 40-50% of that to the writers? sure, it's not much, but as that amount goes up (which i believe it will), everyone wins. studios, please, don't be so greedy. this really is about fairness. it's the stories that get told and produced and aired. those stories are written by the writers. nuf said.
