The Game: Turkey Basting Bitches
Whoa! We've had a shortage of Mel and Derwin in the past few weeks as the storylines focused on the fallout from Malik's press debacle and Kelly and Jason's drama -- but not anymore. Last night, it was all Mel and Derwin, all the time. And things got nasty!
First, Derwin picked up a girl and conveniently ended up making out with her at a diner... where Mel was waiting tables. First painful moment! Then the insults were flying when Mel paid Derwin a surprise visit at his place. Her: Your place was cheesy and over-the-top! Him: Well, I can afford new things now that I'm not paying for your med school! Ouch.

But things got far more awkward when Mel found out Derwin's new girl was actually out to steal a little sperm, turkey baster-style, so she could live large off his considerable assets. Mel set out to warn Derwin... and showed up while the pair was mid hookup. Awkward! Of course, Derwin thought Mel was just jealous, so he didn't take her seriously... until he caught his new lady digging around for her turkey baster. It was true! And he kicked her out, on the spot.
We were glad that Derwin stopped by Mel's diner at the end. At least they're now on friendly terms... although we're not sure how we feel about Derwin leaving her $100. What does that mean -- he's paying her for giving him the heads-up about his new girl? Or he feels sorry for her now that she's not getting a free ride to med school from him? Oh, well -- it looks like she can use it, so we won't get too worked up about it.
Meanwhile, Kelly went on a mega shopping spree in a passive-aggressive attempt to get Jason to realize how much he's messed up their relationship. We were on the edge of our seats when she taunted him about 'roid rage -- and we were a little worried Jason might actually erupt. Never wise to provoke a football player on steroids, Kelly! Fortunately, Jason kept his cool, but we wonder how these two are ever going to patch up this mess.

I absolutely enjoy watching the game. I love the story lines, but the episode titled Turkey Basting Bitches was somewhat disturbing. I was so shocked to see a half naked woman with partially exposed breast being protrayed on this type of show where so many children and/or young people watcch. The fact that this episode aired at primetime was the most disturbing part. What was the real message and what is your level of accountability to your audience?

I thought Monday night's show was great. Each week this show propels to new heights. I'm so hooked! Anyway the hightlight of the Turkey Baster show for me was when Mel asserted herself and called Derwin Malik's bitch. That was hilarious! But at the same time I wished she hadn't lowered herself to sling comments with him. I actually wish she had not acted upon any of her follish, greiving thoughts (getting into bed with Malik!!!). So not Diva!!!=o) Anyway, love the show. Keep it going.

I think derwin and mel need to get back together so the show could really go on also mel and derwin can stay apart for a lil while but malik and mel ned to start dating because every body thought they were going to get together wen mel climeed into malik bed i also thought they were going to get together so i just hope the show go on for a long time because its a really great show
