Beauty and the Geek Finale: Bravo, Dave and Jasmine!
Another season of Beauty and the Geek is over, and we think the best team won. How cute were Dave and Jasmine when they were reunited after four long months of no contact? You can't fake that kind of enthusiasm!
At first the pair really seemed to have nothing in common (those flashbacks to early episodes were painful), but they've got this shared experience, plus LARPing. And after last night, they have even more to talk about -- like what to do with their $125,000 each!
Highlights of the finale:
*Dave and Jasmine winning (sorry, Sam and Nicole fans)!
*Dave and Jasmine's adorable, full-on-embrace of a reunion.
*Joshua and Shay! We missed those two.
*Flashbacks to some of the other beauty/geek pairs from earlier in the season. Doesn't it seem like ages ago that Will and Rebecca were eliminated?
*The fact that the geeks truly seemed cuter and more confident in their looks/social competency, and the beauties really seemed to value their intellect (a little bit) more.
The so-so:
*Joshua's mom. It was cute for a minute, but she really didn't have much to say.
*The whole massage thing with Josh and Rebecca... she didn't seem too thrilled that he brought it up again, did she?
*Rebecca went brunette and suddenly looks exactly like Amanda, who Sam claimed to be interested in in the first place. Coincidence or not?
The not-so great:
*Why did Jasmine have to touch a tarantuala to prove she'd made a transformation? Facing arachnophobia head-on has nothing to do with inner beauty or undiscovered smarts. It just means the show needed to fill a few minutes (and terrify Jasmine in the process).
*Enough with Sam and Rebecca. It was awkward enough the first time when Nicole started sobbing.
*The show being an hour long. Too much filler -- it could have been half an hour.
So what'd you think of the finale? Were you happy with the outcome? Which moments were your favorites... and what could you have done without?

Love Dave & Jasmine! They totally deserved to win....I don't think Nicole underwent any kind of transformation at all. And what was all that crying about when Sam & Rebecca were getting it on? Jealousy?
