Smallville: Mistaken Identities

Whoa, so much going on this week! Bombs and kisses and clones and secrets and twists and a couple things that we just didn’t see coming. That’s the Smallville we like to see!

We have to admit, we usually aren’t that fond of relationship-centric episodes, but this managed to blend the kissing and the action into one tasty package. We had Lois and Grant, Chloe and Jimmy, and Lana and Clark all engaging in liplocks at various points – and we cheered! Maybe it’s because of the impending chaos that these kissy interludes promise. Where to begin…

We’ll start with the relationship that didn’t end with a big twist – Chloe and Jimmy got back together! Well, sort of – when confronted with imminent death, Chloe admitted to Jimmy that she was meteor-infected, and Jimmy let his lips to the talking with a passionate clinch. And then the bomb didn’t go off … awkward. Chloe showed Jimmy her power – but not what her power does to her – and Jimmy looked gobsmacked. This promises to have interesting ramifications.

And then there’s Lois and Grant. We didn’t think their relationship could get any more complicated – He’s her boss, and her nemesis’ long-lost brother! But then we discovered it’s more than that – Grant is actually a clone Lex created to take the place of his long-lost brother! That’s gong to make for some very tense family dinners over the holidays, no? Plus, Lex managed to take over the Daily Planet, and Grant broke up with Lois – for good this time? We’ll see.

Finally, there’s Clark and Lana. We thought Clark was acting a little off, and for a minute, we wondered if Jor El had erased his memory or something. But he settled in, and we forgot our misgivings – up until the very last second, when they revealed that it was really Bizarro! The real Clark is trapped in the ice in the Fortress of Solitude. Well this can’t be good!

Plus, now Bizarro knows that the Brainiac construct is running around out there somewhere. What will happen if those two get together? We’re not sure, but we bet it won’t be pretty!

hey, great minds think alike, steve. that's exactly what i was thinking when the bomb "went off." i was like, "huh?" where's the reaction? where's the explosion? oh well. still i liked this episode. it wasn't SV's greatest but it was enjoyable. i love it that HE'S BAAACK (bizarro).

when did this episode air? why didn't my dvr record it?

smallville has gotten kinda weird, and extremely confusing, so can we get a plot line on what's occured so far??

IM a super fan of smallville but how cum i could watch old or other shows on cw and cant be able to watch smallville

One huge flaw with the episode - when the bomb "disappeared" from the elevator, neither Chloe (who might have guessed what happened, but still should have had a momentary shock) and especially Jimmy expressed the slightest shock! Not even a double-take!

I thought the episode was a little disjointed...but I watch SV for Lex and Clark and they were both great, getting to play on the "bad boy" side! The action sequence of Clark rescuing Chloe and Jimmy was very well done.

three weeks ago,Lana lang was voted #1BEST LOOKING PERSON on TV by Yahoo!beating out patrick dempsey and longoria.tom or jensen not on the list, sorry!KK too better looking 4 them
