Podcast: The New CW Schedule Changes
In our latest podcast, Mia, Sarah and I take on The CW's controversial new schedule changes. If you haven't heard already, the comedies and Gossip Girl are moving to new nights, Reaper's appearing twice a week come February, and Supernatural soon won't be on the schedule at all. Plus, questionable new reality shows (Farmer Wants a Wife, we're looking at you) still might be added in the spring.
Will the changes affect your viewing? Are you supportive of some changes but not others? Which shows will benefit from their new nights -- and which deserve better (ahem, Supernatural)? Check out our take on the schedule changes and post your reactions in the comments!

I think if you are going to do a podcast on One Tree Hill then you should go get the first four seasons and catch up actually i think all of you should watch them because your not even remembering things right, example being Nathan's romp with Haley's sister because that didnt happen. I am not even doing a podcast but i had not seen all the episodes so i watched all the scences that I missed so that I knew what their past was.

Not that the crazy people at cw will pay attention but I am seriously disappointed that the supernatural show is going to be off for however long. I don't watch alot of tv but i make it a point to watch every episode of the sn boys. Besides the fact they are good looking the show is funny and well written. I could only stand to watch one episode of reaper and it in no way compares to sn, and taking supernatural off of the scheduel all togeather is not going to make me want to watch reaper, just make me put my supernatural dvd's in and get my fix like that.

I am so disappointed in the CW. I wish they could sell Supernatural to another network so it could get the appreciation and credit that it deserves. Maybe we need to start a petition for that...

I don't mind the musical chairs with the line-up... now with the strike is the time to experiment and see if different times work for different shows. None of the shows have been tremendously successful in their numbers when there are reruns on. But the most annoying thing about the changes are the reasons given for it... specifically "to give more exposure" to some (pampered) shows.
If that's the case, then don't ALL the shows deserve the same equal chance at exposure? the same chance at being discovered by people who are bored by the reruns on the other networks? Doesn't SUPERNATURAL deserve this same chance to be seen considering it has performed consistently in the Thurs death slot for 2 freaking years?!? aww, poor little Reaper... running to hide from the Tues juggernaut of American Idol!
It is completely unfair to single out Supernatural for total removal. But seriously, even if CW were to actually listen to the fans who are begging to keep SN on the schedule, it would be just like CW to schedule it in the new death slot on Tues nights against new shows of Idol. They've never cut SN a break before... so why expect them to start now? First the death slot -- but it held its own... then the T&A -- jury is still out on that... and now complete removal so that it's out of sight, out of mind. Truly shameful!! A first-class show is being treated like a second-class citizen.

The fan following for this show baffles me. I admit that Jared and Jensen are superb actors, but the show's premise is dumb as heck. Those two guys need to find a better vehicle to showcase their talents. I for one, cannot understand the love for this silly show.

I am a HUGE Supernatural fan and just keep shaking my head in disbelief and asking myself, "What were they thinking?" alternating with, "What is WRONG with these people????" It seems to me that the CW is shooting itself in the foot by not airing reruns of Supernatural. It truly is the best show on television and deserves way more respect than it appears to be getting. Maybe I am mistaken and have the wrong end of the stick here and if that is the case then I hope the CW will prove me wrong and better promote this amazing show. Come on CW, please give Supernatural a fair go and let some new viewers experience what the fans already know to be true, Supernatural is pure magic!

But come on now Silvia, farmers deserve to look for wives too! I'm picturing lots of muscles, no shirt and some overalls. I just pray that he's smarter than Joe Millionaire.

I totally agree that these moves are not good. I'm not a Supernatural fan, but I can see why the fans would be annoyed. HATE the GG move to Mondays, and the fact that the PCD show even exists. And Farmer Wants a Wife? Not going there...
