In this week's One Tree Hill podcast, Sarah, Mia and I talk about why nanny Carrie skeeves us out, the heartwrenching Leyton fight scene (flying novels, anyone!?) Victoria's continued general horribleness, and the return of sassy Q and stupid Mouth.

Hey! I totally agree with what you all say about Mouth. The story line has got to go! Not to mention that the girl that plays Alice is not that great of an actress!! The Leyton scene was really intense and it was nice to see them finally go at it. I did not like the fact that they kept skirting around the issue and never fully got into it. Hilarie did an amazing job with her reactions to what Lucas was saying to Peyton. I have a serious love/hate relationship when it comes to Victoria. I love what she does for the show, as far as moving the plot and picking up Dan's slack but I hate what it does to the other characters. I felt the same way when Dan was an @$$. I do have to say that I'm not mad that Nathan didn't say anything about Carrie. When Racheal was hitting on him in season 4 he didn't say anything then either, not that he really had to... she was pretty obvious. What I don't understand is why, before the season started, we were led to believe that Carrie was going to be a love interest for Lucas. I even remember reading somewhere Mark saying that Carrie wasn't going to be interested in Nathan. I think someone should ask Mark about that!

I thought this week was a great podcast. I felt all the comments were pretty much on point with my own personal view. Everyone seems to be really mad at Nathan for staying on the balcony watching the nanny skinny dip. However I don't think Nathan was put there for any personal reasons. I think it was more for the camera angles and the whole scope of making sure the fans see from Nathan's point of view as well as the Nanny's own reaction. To get all that in made the scene last pretty long making it seem like Nathan couldn't walk away from the sight of the nanny naked. I don't think the writers wanted us to be mad at Nathan for. However, that was not accomplished, maybe bad editing. I also really liked the whole friendship among the girls this episode with Peyton and Brooke as well as Haley and Lindsay. It was nice to see. I am not a huge Lucas and Peyton fan, my loyalty lies with Nathan and Haley, but the fight scene between Leyton was intense and did make me feel bad for both characters. It definitely made some sparks fly. In conclusion I look forward to all your podcasts every week it is interesting to see what outsiders think of the show, I also like hearing comments from people around my own age group, it is refreshing.
