Rumorville: Is Tyra Tired of Top Model?
The drama surrounding America's Next Top Model continues -- and we're not talking about feuding contestants. Nope, this time, the buzz is that Tyra and Mr. Jay are on the outs, and that Tyra is considering handing over hosting duties to another supermodel.
OK! magazine has the dish on the Tyra/Mr. Jay fracas: "[Tyra] thinks [Mr. Jay] has become a diva and is ungrateful to her for making him a star," OK! reports. "The way she sees it, it’s thanks to her that he now has a makeup line, a show on Style Network and hosts Canada’s version of Top Model.”
MSNBC's The Scoop says things have gotten bad enough that Tyra is thinking of ditching her hosting duties: "“She’s really throwing all her weight behind her talk show,” a source familiar with “The Tyra Banks Show” told the site. “She’s putting lots of pressure on her staff to keep her show on the map. She had Barack Obama on, she had Hilary Clinton on — she got a taste of playing with the big boys and now ‘Top Model’ seems to detract from her big plans.”

Well personally I dont want to see tyra leave the show. Im a big Tyra Banks fan and just watching her in the Tyra show and ANTM is so relieving for me, it makes me want to achieve more in my life. I there is no Tyra then ANTM wont be the same. And I dont believe rumors about Mr.J, coz everyone knows they are such good friends and they can't do that to each other.

Tyra CAN'T leave! She's like one of the most intersting and amazing person on there. She can't leave. She created America's Next Top Model, so she has to keep on going. NOO!

I'm getting fed up of the show on the whole! It's no longer a modeling competiton and eliminations stopped making sense a long time ago! Too much focus on making drama for televison ratings it seems... Sometimes it's too much... it's not even funny anymore!

There should be an americas next top teen model......... for all the younger ones (boys & girls)who wanna achieve there dream of becoming a model.

I liked past seasons of "Top Model" but not this season. I miss Twiggy,i don't like most of the girls,and i don't like Tyra cursing. The photoshoots are finally interesting. I understand that it's hard for Tyra to do two shows but she's the host so it would be different. It'll be interesting to see who takes over. What happened to the girls from season 8 and 9. Are they modeling?
