One Tree Hill: One Month Later

Instead of being welcomed back with open arms, Dan was welcomed back with closed fists after bringing Jamie safely home. Once outside, Lucas and Nathan immediately took the opportunity to pummel the man with facial punches. However, that all came to a screeching halt when Jamie came out to give Grandpa Dan a “thank you” hug. There’s no denying the bond between the two now.

Not only is Dan now totally focused on his grandson -- he makes frequent secret visits to Jamie’s school. And Jamie is stoked to see the reformed murderer. Is it cute or is it creepy?

What we loved: We loved seeing Haley and Nathan sitting on the couch at the therapist’s office. It was good to see them hash it out and work on their relationship. When was the last time that they did something young and foolish together? The therapist suggested that they act like selfish 22-year olds. She also suggested that they follow their dreams. We’re so pleased that Nathan moved from the guest bedroom back into the master bedroom. There’s hope for them yet!

What we didn’t love: Brooke continues to move forward with the adoption plans. She wants to use her success to help a child to enjoy the life that they would have otherwise never had—she wants to be a mom.

Too bad that Victoria got to the social worker before the woman met with Brooke. Naturally, Victoria had nothing positive to say about her daughter being a mother. The social worker told Brooke that she was denied, but it really seemed like she sold herself to the woman before she left.

Lucas still wants Lindsey. He hasn’t recovered from being left at the altar. After the wedding didn’t happen, he took some time off to travel with his mom and Andy. And after some soul-searching, he decided that he needed to see Lindsey. He headed to NYC to tell her that he’ll only publish the new book if she edits it. She loves him but swears that they can’t be together but he is committed -- they will be together one day.

What did you think of the episode? Did you enjoy the Naley therapy sessions and watching Brooke try to adopt? What do you think of Lucas and Lindsey? Does Peyton still have a chance with him? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Greattttt episode - the NH scenes were awesome.
I think what we need now is just like a crazy episode where everyone is together and having fun - where it drags everybody away from the main storylines for like one night. Like the boy toy auction epsiode, DARE NIGHT, the sparkle cheerleading classic episodes, Every Night is Another Story (my personal favorite episode ever - in season 1). Just an episode with fun and everybody bonding and getting away from all the drama thats going on!

and please bring back the opening credits with the theme song!

I loved the NH scenes in this episode.. I missed them!
and I love the idea of Brooke becoming a mom :)
but I love Leyton more, I´m not giving up on them yet.. I believe they´re meant to be together.. but I don´t right now it´s the right time for them.. Lucas seems to want Lindsey back.. it´s gonna be hard for me to watch the show and not have them being together cause I´ve been wanting a happy ending since the Pilot.. but I still have hope, their realationship is written too beautifully to be ignored..
LP = TRUE LOVE ALWAYS

one more thing.. in this day & age, NAYLEY ws the family none of us ha, maybe we had 2 parenys, even w/ a hell of a lot of money- were they real PARENTS? Mine was NOT- dragged me all over the country- blames it on me now-- kids- not your fault- no matter what people tell you you do matter- you have potential, keep going..................

i give up...i gave the show a chance wen they broke lucas and lindsey up but now he's pining over her...wtf...first they lead us to believe lucas and peyton are soulmates now i dont know wat their doin...so im done... wen i read somewhere lucas and peyton is back together i'll start watching again and i have alot of friends that feels the same way so good luck with ur ratings Mark...

i liked how they smooth out everything between naley. the therapist had some pretty good things to say about their marriage they really should take a day off from parenting act stupid for one day. i am so glad that in the next episode they are going to smooth out everything between Peyton and Lucas.i liked what Brooke to the social worker. this episode was about reflection about the characters of the show

Ok first off I LOVED this episode. I think it was what we needed, to get inside everyone's head and see everyone on their own after everything that has been going on.

Naley: AMAZING!! I have to say I fell in love with them all over again last night. They were just pure love in their scenes, i still can't get over how great it was!

Brooke: I felt so bad for her. I like the idea of her adopting, I think she will be a terrific mother, and she is not immature. I can't imagine having a baby at 22 but if its what she wants than its what she wants. But did anyone else realize how defensive she got when the adoption lady mentioned Lucas. I mean she mentioned Owen and Chase too but Brooke only got defensive about Lucas, and the look on her face when the lady said "and Lucas Scott"... I just got the feeling that there is other things going on there. But I LOVED her speech at the end of the interview, it was amazing! And I love her and Jamie together, they are too cute!

Lucas: I kinda felt bad for him, b/c I really do believe he is in love with Lindsey too. I'm sick of people saying "he is in denial" why don't people just listen to what he is saying. I don't think he is in denial, I think he does really love her. I have a whole theory about this but I'm not going into it here. But Lucas has always had a problem of showing the woman he loves how much he actually loves them. But Lucas needs to stop recycling lines. "one day your going to wake up and realize it..." vs. "one night your going to realize it, I'm the guy for you Brooke Davis" and then "I'll wait forever if I have too" (or something like that) and he said the same thing to Peyton in last years season finale. Part of me thinks it is wrong of him to make Lindsey edit the book, but then the other part doesn't because he truely believes, as do I, that the book isn't about Peyton. But I don't think she is gong to wind up doing it at all.

As for Dan, well I will NEVER forgive him for killing Kieth, I do believe that he really does love Jamie, and Nathan and Lucas for that matter. I think he realizes how much he screwed up with his sons and he wants to make a mends by doing right by Jamie. They were actually pretty cute together.

And my least favorite part of the episode, Peyton and Max. I'm sorry but I can't take Mark seriously, I love him to death, but he can't act. And I honestly think that his obsession with Peyton is a little creepy. As for Peyton, I really think she needs to try and move on. I think we need Jake to come back and take Peyton away from everything, because God know I love me some Jeyton!!

The voice over at the end I absolutely loved! I really missed the voice overs, I hope they are back for good. But all in all as a fan of the show first and foremost, I loved this episode. I can't wait til next week.

I'm so glad that the naley's r workin it out i almost stoped watchin the show do to the fact that it was becomin a soap opera i'm not my mom if i wanted to sit around n watch all that crap i would quite my day job lol i really really enjoyed latnights show it really felt more realistic . i feel bad for payton i hope there is still a chance for her n lucas she really deserves him or they do eachother get rid of lindsey already shes not a main person on the show so don't make her one i would like to know whats goin on with rachel and good luck to brooke and loved the therapist and max scene it was very touchin

at the end, when lucas was talking to lyndsey, was i the only one reminded of the talk he had with brooke on the beach, telling her that he was the guy for her? i don't know, they just sounded eerily alike.
but i am soo glad that haley's gonna be working on her music. i hope she sings soon, cause joy's voice is amazing.
and even though, i don't think having a kid is right for brooke right now, i felt so bad for her, especially when she went pick up jamie and she started to cry. it was so heartbreaking. poor girl.

I think its adorable how Dan & little Jaime have formed a bond between each other b/c you can really see how much Dan cares about his grandson. I truly believed Dan has changed & would love to see him again with Karen.

It pisses me off that I know that Lucas doesn't really love Lindsay & is being foolish. I believe his true love is forever Brooke.

So I really liked this episodes, but it was weird because everyone was doing their own thing and I didn't like the beginning or ending.

I was like wtf. To Lucas and Nathan. I kinda understand though. Especially if they didn't know Carrie kidnapped Jamie(but I do find that hard to believe) and Even if Lucas knew that Carrie kidnapped Jamie, Dan still killed Keith, and if I want to still kill dan for that I know lucas does too. And Nathan came in because Dan started punching lucas. However, I was still disappointed in them both.

And the ending voice-overs were just a little too cheesy for me. And weird. I just didn't like it. If it would have ended right before that I would have been perfectly fine.

Naley: I LOVE them. they are my favorite. i think it is really good that they are working things out. And I LOVED their scenes together. I love how they brought up the whole drug incident in season one(one of my favorite naley scenes). I liked the therapist even though I didn't agree with her on everything about Naley.

Haley: I totally get what you are saying about the whole "I love how he(nathan) is so protective over me and Jamie" line. I even said "Even though you got all mad the first time?" but in her defense, I don't think she was mad at Nathan for being protective, I think she was mad how he handled it, and if her son got kidnapped I am sure that would change a lot of your points of views on life.

Nathan: He always does these stupid things, and makes wrong decisions, and doesn't say ANYTHING. (probably cause he doesn't know what to say) and then later comes back with these amazing lines, and even if you were or wanted to be mad at him you can't help but love him.

Brooke: I LOVE her. I loved the last line she said to the adoption lady. I wasn't sure on the whole Brooke having a baby thing but I LOVE the idea now. and I don't think that she would really kick peyton out, if she did I would be SOOO mad, although what she did, did make her look kinda shity. I also love her with Jamie:)

Victoria: I knew she was going to do something, but I didn't expect this. I HATE her SOOOOOOOOOOO much.

Jamie: Is still SO adorable and I love him. He makes the show even better than it already is.

Peyton(and max): I loved them. And I LOVE max, Mark isn't the best actor. I felt SO bad for her, and felt her pain, but I hate how she's(or they are making her) this girl hopelessly in love with Lucas and pining for his love. it is not her, she is strong and independent and yes she loves him but she should be fighting not lying down.

Lucas: I really think that he IS in love with Lindsey just like he was in love with brooke, but they are not meant to be, even though I am starting to like them together(even though I don't want to like them). There is something about what Lucas says to the women he loves that makes me love the couples.

Andy: i like that he is there for Lucas and trying to give him what he wants, but I just wasn't feeling their scenes for some reason and it wasn't because he(andy) was pushing for Lindsey and not peyton, it was just because i just because of the vibe or something.

Dan: I still hate him. And that will never change, I will never totally forgive him for killing Keith.

I don't know how i feel about Nathan playing. I have wanted him to play for awhile but know that it has actually come, I just don't know for some reason.

What can I say?

The Naley scenes were absolutely amazing - seriously how far have these two actors come from season 1?
Naley are the reason I watch the show and buy all the dvd's! Even when they are struggling its great to watch because Joy and James always nail their performances!

To be honest Im not really that interested in the other scenes but I too think the Brooke adoption thing is too far-fetched.

celticfcz

It was an okay episode (to me).

I actually like Lindsey (more than I like Peyton right now), and I like Lucas and Lindsey together, but since the show seems to want Lucas and Peyton together(unfortunately for me), Lindsey might as well get off the merry-go-round now and get far away from Lucas and Peyton and move on with her life.

I really hope Brooke is not allowed to adopt and I hope she doesn't go to Lucas or Nathan or any of the other guys wanting them to be sperm donors. She's too young and immature to be a mother.

I'm not going to say i hated it. but its hard to figure out where its all going.
Naley was great as always.
Dan is still an evil guy,and i loved seeing Lucas and Nathan get it all out on him, but i like his interaction with Jamie. Say what you want to say about him, he loves his kids, and grandson.
Brooke wanting a kid seems pretty pointless. I like Brooe as a free agent. she is sexier and funier that way. Plus, we already have a mom on the show-Haley-and she's great.
Then there's Leyton. I'm no longer a Leyton fan, simply because i don't undertsnad where its going. Its mapped out like they are suppose to be together, but Lucas is stuck on pursuing Lindsay. So, what does that mean? So, i'm no longer leyton fan, but i will always be a Peyton fan. Lets get her a new guy. She deserves to be happy. Maybe Lucas saying "i do" will help her to move on. They can be friends still. That last scene with them on the rivercourt was very refreshing.

Best part of the episode by far was Nathan and Haley. Although I wasn't sure about the whole therapy thing at first, I loved hearing the things they had to say to each other. Finally they are good againnn!

sorry, but I'dont like it. naley isn't my favorite, and I hate Lindsey:(

I am pleasantly surprised about the episode, or more about the NH scenes, seeing that I only watch their scenes. I loved it! I adored watching their scenes unfold, which is rare these days, because they do not hold much. I think that Joy and James have a sizzling chemistry and for so long that has spoken higher volumes than the dialogue and their storylines, but in this episode they were both given a voice, as individuals and as the couple they are.

The last scene with NH was probably my favourite of this episode. Haley sitting by the piano, clean washed, stillness etched upon her features as she allow herself to feel the beauty of toying with the piano keys and Nathan tossing the ball up and down feeling the rush of having something in his hands, holding something that he loves and is passionate about... Moreover, they were both in the same room, they did not need to say words to tell what the other was thinking, the presence, those in a room together, spoke for them and it showed how they still have hope left. They are in it together; they will aim for their goals together.

I just hope that I won’t be proved wrong, because for the first time in a long time I actually look forward to see the upcoming episodes.

so the naley was amazing. it was great to see them really talk things out and it seems like they've made some real progress. and the end? SUPER HOT!!!! i swear nathan said, "you have a serious ass haley james." !!!! i'm glad they're getting back on track and i hope we see more of nathan playing basketball and haley getting back into music...those were always my favorite parts of the show. i can't wait for next week! :)

love this episode my favorite part was naley and brooke and peyton part only part i didn't like is lucas saying he want lindsay and we all know he still in love with peyton and i also love the part where jamie was showing his pet chester to his class. Only thing missing was mouth and skillz
