Top Model Recap Show... Or Was It The Marvita/Amis Variety Hour?
We didn't realize how much we missed Marvita and Amis until we watched this recap show. They're completely wacky, and we'd probably tear our hair out if we had to LIVE with them, but they make for some great TV.
Seriously, this is one strange crop of models -- the recap show revealed some of their oddest behavior yet.
Some highlights of the recap show:
*Marvita. Armed with a pink guitar, she managed to torment half the house -- and if that wasn't bad enough, she strutted around naked, much to the annoyance of her roommates (why does someone do that every season?). But she made up for it with her strong massages, and frank commentary.
*Amis is nuts in the best possible way. We loved watching her and Marvita take the stage and bond. And anyone who says that we're all weird is okay by us. Her completely non-graceful exit was also a classic Amis moment. She might've been too crazy for panel, but she was all right by us.
*We'd forgotten how good some of the girls looked pre-makeover! We miss Whitney's dark bob and Dominique's longer hair (she looked much more modelesque with longer locks). But we don't miss Fatima's orange-ish style at all.
Lowlights:
*Did we really need a segment on the discovery of the bidet? Also, why does Dominique have one at home?
*Allison's bizarre eating habits. A1 mixed with Jell-O is nasty! In what universe would that be considered a tasty snack?
*As usual, not one Kat confessional. Why does this show hate her so much? Yeah, she's maybe not the most dramatic or quotable (that'd be Dominique), but we'd like to hear her say SOMETHING. We feel like we don't even know the girl!
*Kim never seemed like the brightest bulb, but thinking the coffeemaker is for brewing up hot chocolate? Even Amis thought it was weird.
