The reason for all the microphones is that Jared was so late to arrive that all the reporters had to interview him at once, unlike with Jensen, Sera, Eric, and Ben, who all arrived on time.
I have very little desire to see evil or super-powered Sam, honestly. It sort of ruins the character, no matter that Jared seems to want to play him that way. What was so wrong with just normal "Sam"? The less "human" Sam becomes, the less interested I am in him and his story. Oh well, at least there's always Dean (and Bobby!).

Isn't this the exact same interview that everyone else has already posted? Camera angle is slightly better but otherwise there's nothing new here.

Look at all the pretty pretty microphones, Jared is certainly popular- and for good reason.
The reason for all the microphones is that Jared got there late(traffic) and so most of them only got that one shot at interviewing him on video, unlike Sera, Kripke and Jensen who could do multiple interview sessions.

My wish is coming true!!! Don't get me wrong, I love my sensitive little Sammy, but Born Under A Bad Sign and Mystery Spot both showed us how capable Jared is of acting an evil Sam, and he's been urging the chance to do it again. So we'll have the chance to see even greater performance from him, and also Jensen who Dean will have to live with and understand what has happened to Sam during the four months he was gone...
Man... I don't know about you guys but season four is getting me pretty pumped up!!!! I seriously cannot wait for it to start anymore!!!
And thank you for posting this! Jared is the man!!! :D
