Privileged: All About Appearances

Great, now smile with your eyes! No, not like that! Haven't you learned ANYTHING from Tyra?
You know that TV show, The Worst Week Ever? That was Megan’s life as Tuesday started off like every other episode of Privileged but quickly turned way down hill. We don’t know which is worse -- her faltering relationship with Charlie or her horribly-gone-wrong plan to include the girls in Laurel’s business.

For starters, Megan totally pulled a Madonna and dumped her guy. That’s right. Jacob is a thing of the past. And, after his dating tastes came to light, we have to say we are glad.

Jacob, who at the beginning of the episode frets about Megan not wanting to be seen with him, totally pulled a one-eighty. While he may have seemed like a sweet guy perfect for Megan, he totally brought up the ick factor. Dating an ex student? While he was a teacher at the school? And she was only 19 to boot! Yuck! Even grosser was when Emily (the ex-student AND ex-girlfriend) walked out of the bathroom (half-naked) in front of Megan, explaining “What? She said it was over.” Jacob is now totally a creeper in our minds.

Then there was the yelling match with Laurel. We’re surprised Laurel didn’t fire her! Who did Megan think she was? Her job, like Laurel says, is to tutor the girls within their lifestyle, not to change their ways of living to make her job easier.

We don’t even see her point when she’s talking it over with Jacob – or should we say ‘nagging’ it over with Jacob, because that’s about all Megan did this episode. It was so annoying.

We were so annoyed with her that we were – like Charlie – wanting desperately to forget about her. But, we do have to give props to Charlie for trying to move on. Unlike Marco, we didn’t think he was being too rude. Charlie told Megan he couldn’t be socializing at work and it was like she didn’t even hear it. Perhaps she didn’t care -- we agree with Charlie that she did seem to be awfully caught up in herself this week. It was not a good look on her at all.

So, for once, Megan was the one left hanging as Charlie put her on the back burner for his new beau.

Then there was the plan to have the girls be the new model’s for Laurel’s cosmetic company, which totally went down the drain when Laurel discovered she had no connection with them. Even worse than the plans falling apart, we had to see how hurt Sage was by Laurel canceling on her.

And even though Megan had eventually made things better with the girls by the end of Tuesday, we still found her very annoying the entire episode. So we have to ask, what was up with whinny Megan this week? Did she totally ruin her relationship with Charlie? And, now that Jacob is out of the picture, who will Megan look to date next?

Will's next =D and hopefully last... he did say he's the guy at end of the story and since this show might not make it much more, it's getting there.
