Exclusive: Smallville's Sam Witwer on Davis and Doomsday

Have we mentioned lately how much we love Sam Witwer? The Smallville actor is smart, funny, honest, open (except when it comes to spoilers -- curses!), and very easy on the eyes. Too bad he's playing a guy who will end up doing very, very bad things!

Our own Jason C. talked to Sam about what attracted him to the part, what Davis' first thoughts about Clark were (they involve things like "why is he so tall, he's got great hair..."), the role of Chloe in his character arc (and in the show), and the inevitable conflict we're all waiting for. As Sam says, "If you bring Doomsday on, and If they don't throw down by the end of the season, what are you doing?"

Warning: If you're completely averse to anything spoiler, we did pry a couple of comments out of Sam that may qualify.

Sam is so down to earth, so cool, sexy and hot! Please more interviews of him. Davis and Chloe would make a perfect and interesting couple because they bring the heat up on screen! They are really hot together!!!!

Sam said it all right there that if Superman and Doomsday don't fight at the end of the season, then the whole thing would be pointless. By the end of the season, we need to see Clark flying with a prototype disguise and Davis fully transformed into the monstrous Doomsday.
