Gossip Girl Podcast: "New Haven Can Wait"
The Gossip Girl Gang goes on college visits, and mayhem ensues. Somehow, we don't seem to remember catfights, betrayals, bondage, secret societies, mistaken identities and bounteous blackmail material back when we were prospective students, but perhaps we weren't applying to the right places. Or maybe we just didn't have Chuck, Blair, Serena, Nate and Dan to liven things up for us!
Blair makes a tactical error when she scoffs that Serena would never get into a real college, like Yale. This prompts Serena to take the Dean up on his personal invitation to visit the campus, and the fur starts flying! We loved watching these two competitors square off, but we couldn't help but feel one was more wrong than the other.
Meanwhile, Chuck is evaluating colleges based on secret societies, Nate is struggling with being known as The Captain's son, Dan screws up his application (for a smart guy, Dan makes some boneheaded moves...) and the Yalies are reeling from the Upper East Side's descent on campus. Plus, Jenny attempts to sway Rufus to her way of thinking, and she gets help from a surprising ally.
Find out what we have to say about the Blair/Serena skirmishes, hear what costumes we appreciated (and which left us cold), ponder with us the vagaries of hazing, and learn where literary criticism really doesn't fly. Plus, find out why I was rocking out to the string quartet at the Dean's party!

This episode was so awesome, I loved almost every part of it. I think that Serena was out of line with what she was doing to Blair with the whole Yale situations. Blair's dream was funny I couldn't get that rhyme down, I've heard it so many times from my cousin which still annoys me. I loved how Chuck owned those secret society guys they so deserve that oh and btw I am so full of the british charm. lol I do like how Nate and Dan are becoming friends I wonder what Serena's gonna think about this. But I think that Chuck is gonna find some way to ruin Dan. Blair I think she won the game when she put that guys' name in there check and mate. really I thought Lily looked great but then again I have no fashion sense. lol but I'm glad that Jenny got what she wanted thanks to Lily's wise words. great podcast

Hey Sarah, about the Princeton reference.
In 1x03, Poison Ivy, Chuck was the usher for the Yale rep but he switched because he was trying to get with the female Princeton rep. He was the one who was thinking about Princeton, although I doubt he was serious about it.
Anyway, great podcast as usual.

TYPO on your Podcast ladies. I do not listen to them on here but rather I get them directly from the iTunes podcasts. I pretty much only listen and follow along with the One Tree Hill podcasts and for some reason u labeled this podcast as "OTH" instead of GG for Gossip Girl.
Made me all confused when listening to it so just to let u know that u need to fix this. thanks :)

The best part of this episode was Chuck and the rendition of "Time Is Running Out" by the great Muse.
The Serena is annoying but has become less boring when her scenes are with Blair who no matter what is always a pleasure to watch. Nate is a man whore who lacks a personality of his own with no substance to make him interesting even in this episode. Dan as always never fails to bore me much like the father Rufus.
Over all, quite an enjoyable episode.

Ugh, please CW, get some new podcaster's, people who are not biased towards everythign that is Chuck and Blair, both as an individual's, and as a couple. It's getting totally ridiculous now.
