All About the Ripple Effect

We don’t think there is anything else that can go wrong in the wonderful world of Palm Beach on Privileged. Let us run down the list: issues with Lily – check. Argument with boyfriend – check. Even more family issues – double check.
Seriously, we don’t know what is worst; Megan’s estranged mother showing up out of nowhere, her dad insisting she forgive her mom or Megan practically throwing Will into a jealous fit.
Also, since when does it take someone so long to realize that they like a person – we're talking to you, Sage! Thank goodness Rose was there to guide Sage through the process or she might have never realized it. However, we were totally bummed that for all the drama getting to the revelation, we didn’t get to see Sage and Luis hook-up.
So, we are still left wondering whether or not they will ever get together, how it will happen and who will make the first move. Plus, what will Laurel think when she finds out that Sage is dating the help? The word fired comes to mind, and we think Marco might end up in some hot water over the entire thing.
But it wasn’t only Sage who got a love interest last night. In her attempt to show-up Rose in a game of “make the sister jealous,” Sage totally gets her sister and her sister’s school crush together.
Then there's Megan and Will, whose relationship is yet to stand on solid ground. Seems Megan still can’t handle sharing with anyone but Charlie, which totally crushes Will. In fact, he gets so upset over the fact that Megan shares her mom/family drama with Charlie instead, that he practically jumps down the guy’s throat.
What gives, Megan?
However, the person that irked us most on Tuesday was Daddy. How can he even say that Megan’s mom ditching the family when they were young is the same as him being an alcoholic? Last time we checked, alcoholism was a disease, an addiction, but we couldn’t find needtoleaveyourfamilyitist anywhere in our medical dictionary.
How dare he ‘request’ that Megan forgive her or not forgive him? And, where does anyone get off thinking that things will ever be normal between this mother and daughter? We side with Megan 100 percent on this one, and we were so impressed that she was able to take Will’s advice and put her feelings aside, at least to pretend to try to get along with her mom, just for dad’s sake.
Where was Lily while all this was going down, you ask? On her honeymoon, with that guy Sammy she got back together with and who, by the way, nobody seems to like. More worrisome was that no one was able to get a hold of Lily. Last night ended without us ever finding out if Lily was okay. Do you think she’s just being her irresponsible self or is she in trouble?
Comments
Megan really needs to give Will a chance and talk to him otherwise there will never be a relationship.
I love this show and hope it lasts!
