Gossip Girl Podcast: "Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou"

Listen Now

Sniff. Snorfle. Sob! We're still recovering from this week's Gossip Girl, which did its best to destroy us. Chuck disintegrated in front of our eyes, crazy with grief and guilt over his father's (off-screen) death. Then there was Blair, desperate to help him, even finally confessing that she loves him. But Chuck wasn't in any position to accept that love. Again: Sob!

The funeral party.
Of course, it wasn't JUST the Chuck and Blair show (although we would have been fine if it were...) Lily and Rufus were in rare form, and prompted plenty of conversation. Jackie actually singed the computer, she was spitting so much fire over LIly's behavior. Plus, we discover Jackie's attraction Kryptonite: Turtlenecks on men. Do you agree?

There's plenty more: Get Jackie's tips for ditching a date in Buenos Aires, discover who else is fed up with Aaron Rose, find out who Mia is happy to take as a representative of her people, and hear soem off-the-wall theories about Lily's secret shame.

Listen to our Gossip Girl podcast for "Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou" and let us know what you think in the comments!

I love your podcasts! I like to listen to them right after I watch the epidsode usually I am in bed with the ipod on, I usually giggle the whole way through, my husband thinks I'm mad.
I have to agree about the turtlneck (we call them skivvy's in Australia)It looked terrible on Rufus!
Still don't understand how everyone LOVES Chuck but anyway....
Thanks for making me laugh girls.

I KNEW IT! I called it. Lily was pregnant. But the Chuck thing. I did like his hair eventhough he was looking a bit zombie-ish. lol

Lily was kinda a pain this episode. But angry Jackie is pretty awesome. lol

Serena is just a glutton for punishment, she welcomes the drama into her life.

I love the Blair and Chuck scene when they were Spotted! Blair and Chuck were the stars of this episode I think, they were just awesome.

Aaron URGH! I really don't like him well not so much him but the whole Serena/ Dan/Aaron thing.

Syrus was great this episode. I think he and Blair are gonna hve a great father- daughter relationship.

Jackie talking about Rufus (shocker) lol Rufus for the past couple of weeks has been kinda annoying, the whole pining for Lily is kinda dead to me now. But I think the baby was aborted. If it was Dan Serena would be traumatised for life. lol
Rufus and Dan have this thing going that they think they are always right. England is always cold and grey anyway.

Eric and Chuck OMG Eric I felt so sorry for him after Chuck destroyed him. I think that Eric came out to Chuck first (not to sure)

I can't wait for One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl to return. I'm gonna be going through withdrawls.

great podcast yet again

what about the new teacher? the one that's coming ¿? she could be rufus and lilly's ilegitimed daughter :S

Could Georgina be Rufus and Lily's kid?

Another awesome podcast - can't wait till it's back 5th of Jan
But as i was listening to this weeks podcast i had a sudden thought what if Aaron is Rufus and Lily's kid???

Maybe...

I'm surprised you all didn't mention the bulimia reference from Blair when she and Nate were dragging Chuck to the church. It interested me because she made it seem as if Chuck not only knew about her bulimia but helped her with/through it. I was wondering if you'd bring it up.

I don't remember exactly what she said but it was something along the lines of: "Am I going to have to stick my finger down your throat and hold back your hair?" Clearly Nate didn't have a clue because he said she lost him but Chuck didn't look phased or anything. Okay I'm rambling.

Great podcast nontheless!
