School is cancelled due to the heat wave and all the kids want to go to the beach. Tabitha gives Annie the keys to her Palm Springs getaway house - probably a good idea to give to a kid in heat. Dixon brings up the negativity of Silver to Navid and he says Silver is probably just upset because she wants Dixon to tell her that he loves her. Sour grapes, man.

Naomi finds Adrianna at the playground and basically tells her she shouldn't even be there as a friend because she "knows" she's using again. Adrianna basically says, "Thanks Judge Judy but I'm not using - I'm pregnant."

Annie calls up Ethan and tells him about the Palm Springs getaway and he's more than willing to ditch the beach party to have some alone time. Adrianna and Naomi make it to the beach party to "frisbee their cares away" and Adrianna says she isn't ready to tell Navid about the bebe.

At the beach, Dixon is struggling to tell Silver about what's bothering him/that he loves her. Naomi and Adrianna are laying out when that gigantic tool with the bad highlights, George, tells Adrianna he hears she's using again. Oops, Naomi should've called off the rumors before she put her bikini on.

Debbie and Harry find out that Grandma has given Annie the keys to her getaway house and Harry finally stands up to his mother and tells her she needs to watch from the sidelines as they raise their kids or else they'll move out from under her roof. From the look on Debbie's face, she's a bit turned on watching Harry stand up to his mother.

Annie and Ethan go out for a fancy seven-course dinner filled with liver and sweetbreads, which they decide to leave behind so they can go back to Grandma's pad to check out the bedroom.

It's getting dark at the beach and Naomi confronts her new friends about spreading the rumor of Adrianna's drug abuse. With nostrils flared, she tells the trio of mean girls to never spread rumors about her friends. One mean girl seems to be sincerely confused while the two others back down a little too easily.

The fire is burning both literally and figuratively in front of Annie and Ethan - wait, isn't there a heat wave? Did they turn the air conditioning on to arctic blast? Why is there a fire burning in the fire place? Either way, Ethan cools things off when he tells Annie he isn't so sure he can go through with them having sex. She doesn't understand why - but it's probably because of the speech she just gave him about how important her virginity is to her and how she's been waiting for exactly the right person to share it with. That's a lot of pressure to put on someone who was getting an extra-curricular bj when your eyes first met upon returning to Beverly Hills.

After Navid defends Adrianna's honor by tackling George, Adrianna is almost forced to tell him about her pregnancy. Navid, understandably, walks away to let himself think - leaving Adrianna to herself.

Debbie and Harry sneak up on Annie (which, is kind of gross - why would you want to catch your daughter in the act?) only to find Ethan sleeping on the couch and Annie sleeping in the bed - alone. They pat themselves on the back for their wonderful parenting skills but don't know their daughter was about to give up her V-card just a couple of hours ago. They're so happy with themselves they decide to get their freak on in the back seat of the family mini-van.

Their other child, Dixon, is having some issues of his own. He's been helping Silver build a rather large sand castle all day and when he thinks the moment is right, finally tells her he loves her. This catches Silver off-guard and she only mutters, "Thank you," which isn't what you want to hear in return when someone tells you those three little words. When he gets upset about it and tells her to forget about it, she lashes out. Is it just me or did this come out of nowhere? Where's the cutesy love Dilver usually gives us? Silver leaves, but not before destroying the sandcastle.

Annie and Ethan find Harry and Debbie in the back of their car a little less clothed and it's awkward for everyone. Adrianna goes to talk to Navid and he says he isn't sure how to handle their situation. Poor Adrianna is left alone again. Silver apologizes to Dixon but it's obviously not all good. If these two don't communicate openly, they aren't going to last much longer. Naomi apologizes to Adrianna and steps up as a really good friend - which Adrianna obviously really needs right now.

Ethan talks to Annie about building a strong foundation for their relationship before they hop into bed because sex is more than just a physical act for their love - it's an expression of their feelings.
