I refuse to watch One Tree Hill Season 7!! I have been a die hard fan since day 1 and I can't stand watching the episodes anymore. It is not One Tree Hill without Lucas and Peyton!!! I feel bad for the other actors, because they don't deserve it, but I hope CW pays for it.

they can't kill of peyton. nobody wants to see the show end on such a bad note. although there is a 7th season, a lot of the season would be filled with memoriesof peyton and dealing with her death. look at the O.C. marissa's death really killed the show. i know mark schwahn is smarter than that. this isn't exactly the kind of drama people want. people won't stay interested in this i don't think. so if they are taking away chad michael murray (a.k.a. sexiest man alive) and hilary burton away, can't they just make them go live happily ever after somewhere??

OKAY... i did not watch one tree hill the first 3 seasons!! my cousin made me watch it one night and i fell in love by watching one episode.. went out bought the seasons and have been watching ever since.. unfortunatly this season i was very let down.. the drama the tragedy the love it all kinda fadded out. you guys can do better than this im glad there is a season 7. but you guys should be careful... i dont think ill be tuning in if there is no peyton n lucus. 90210 is a disgrace get it outta here.. one tree hill is amazing and for some money cuts i hope the cw suffers huge

Maybe Peyton will go into a coma. Then Lucas, wanting the best treatment for her, will move off somewhere that she can have long term care. Then when she wakes up, they can come back to Tree HIll. That's the only ending I could live with.

ok i love tree hill and i love every character and naley is not borin in da earlier shows dey had their fun and brook is jus awesome but lucas and peyton not there no way i really dont see myself watchin it as much i mean i will watch cuz i love naley and brook but cmon tree hill would never be the same the writers need to wake up and realize fans want to have a happy endin we had enough sad runs wit Q dyin and brook gettin attacked brook need to open up and lucas and peyton need to have to baby and live happy

I think the way the writers are ending season 6 is absolutely absurd. One Tree Hill is nothing without every single one of the characters. I have watched this show from day one and never missed an episode. I always look forward to things turning around for the better after something tragic happens. If they are looking for a way to write off the show completely then damn, end it happily ever after. There is no way that i will even think to watch season 7 if peyton and lucas dont pull through this. i'll erase what i've heard about the pregnancy issues and write a REAL ending in my head & leave it at that. I hope you all know that ratings will plummit if you release two of the most essential characaters from the show. Not every series must end with people dying. Use your brains & do what your fans want, not what think will save you money. By the way, they are right.Gossip Girl & One Tree Hill are the foundation of your network. Why dont you wise up and see that. Don't ruin a good series, please.

I think they will have Peyton die in child birth, but the baby will survive. It will all be too much for Lucas to handle. He will leave One Tree Hill leaving he and Peyton's baby in Brook's very capable hands. Just my opinion. I don't doubt that the show will continue to be good without Peyton. However, without Lucas as well, I don't think it will survive. Brook can't carry the show on her own and Nathan and Haley are too boring. If this happens, they should scrap the show and fast forward at 11 years and develop a new show based on Jamie and bring in Lucas's half sister as a love interest.

lucas nephew is jamie so jamie and lilly canot fall in love !!!! lucas and nathan are half brothers

I think the producers are too smart to just kill Peyton off (although Brooke is my favorite). I do think they will have her in a coma or something--always leaving that door open for her return should her leave of absence need a return!

Peyton's death at the end of season 6 seems to obvious to me, and I think that the OTH writers are more creative than that, and less predictable.In that kind of shows, what happens is often what we were not expecting ! I know that CMM and Hilarie Burton are not returning for season 7, so I have come to the conclusion that it could be Lucas Scott who dies accidentally letting Peyton on her own to raise their child, and she'll leave Tree Hill. It's just a hypothesis ! Let's see what happens !

I would just love for the both of them to come back and the CW to accept them.... If the best show on television is coming to an end, then make it a good end and keep all 5 core characters for the next season and make it the best one yet!!!

Lets see a good end for One Tree Hill, I will sure miss the show.

okay first of all no offense to anyone who watches OTH but i have NEVER liked Peyton!! she was always about 'oh feel sorry for me because my life sucks..' if they keep her one the show at least die her hair, keep up with her roots it DRIVES ME INSANE!
i have always loved this show and my fav character is Brooke... i think that Peyton should die off and Luke & Brooke should raise Peyton's kid together and get closer and fall in love she is sooo much better...and quit having Luke in this funk where he's depressing and doing nothing on the show.. i think this show is going to really suck in the next couple of years and the writers or something need to kick it into gear and fix it.. and i do agree with "Heather" freaking take off 90210 its STUPID! it died for a reason... and im sorry if i made ppl mad its my personal opinion..

all i have to say is if Hilarie leaves i'm not watching the show anymore because to me there's no point of OTH without Leyton

Get a grip guys. What the YouTube video of Chad. They are getting rid of them to save money. This is bull crap. I've been a loyal fan for the beginning of the show, but I'm not going to support a network that will just kick people out on their butts to save a little money. I guess it's money over people. I have a solution cut that piece of crap you call a show 90210. There was a reason that show ended and it should have stayed that way. At the very least, they should susk it up and tell the truth, but the truth would make them look bad. Well, hope they enjoy the last season of one tree hill cause they just sank the show.

I'm sorry.....but come on CW, if you really aren't having Peyton and Lucas return....END THE SHOW!!!!! They ARE the show! Think about how FRIENDS would have been without the Ross and Rachel. I've been a dedicated viewer and will refuse to watch if they have Peyton and Lucas leave.

That is crap, after this past episode and they way she worded her message, they are killing her off, its such a loss for the show, I dont think I could watch another season if they kill her off and send lucas away...what would be the point, if the whole cast isn't going to continue, then end the show before you ruin it

I would honestly be devastated if either of them left and it would make a really horrible and weird impact on the other characters, i think they will also both regret not coming back for the final series and not seeing the last leg of the journey off, im just going to sit back and wait for the news its not 100% sure they are going at the end of the day. im gonna be pissed if they kill off peyton. like not even watching the 7th season. leyton is the show. so ugh.

Don't get me wrong, I love Hilarie and think that she is wonderful, however, her character the past two seasons has been down right annoying. I found that I would fast forward through her scenes because they were dull and the scenes between her and CMM just weren't the same as watching Naley scenes. Actually, Naley and Brooke are the only reasons I watch the show anymore. Lucas doesn't excite me.

With that said, I think that Peyton may be better off without Lucas. Yes, they've built up this drama and tension about their relationship but I just don't like Lucas anymore. Peyton is stronger than that. Peyton has had all these terrible things happen to her throughout the series and she can't stand on her own two feet without a man?

Or maybe they'll kill Peyton off and have Lucas raise a child alone and have the story come full circle so that he raises a child alone just like his mom did. Either way, I'll still watch the show for season 7, as long as they don't start bringing back psychos like Carrie and Derek. (P.s. Peyton's brother Derek - the real one - needs to make more appearances. I love him.)

Hey I don't think they should write off Peyton just because Chad wants to live, I know most of you Naley/Leyton fans will hate me for saying this, but since the begginning of the show I sort of alwayz envisioned Nathan and Peyton ending up together as crazy as that sounds, but on a personal level i know they could so much more with Peyton's character without Lucas

This show is all about Peyton and Lucas' journey they are the couple of the show! I'm truly disgusted that they would even think to kill off or eliminate at all one of the main characters.. their love has finally made it through and now one of them is coming off the show that completely ridiculus. The show would be better off ending completely than killing off Peyton. I honestly think it would loose the majority of viewers. That is a really stupid move and its just going to ruin the show for so many people

I love lucas and peyton. I would rather that they leave Tree Hill together than have one of them die. Bring them back for guest spots or just for the series finale. For the seventh season, the rest of the cast will provide enough story. If something happens to Lucas or Peyton, I'll watch the series finale but probably not the rest of the season.

I never thought I could be that mad because of a show !!! Killing Peyton because CMM has decided to leave ??? What is wrong with those people ? How can OTH still exist without Peyton and Lucas. It's so ridiculous there's not even words to describe it. And unlike K I totally blame CMM. What is one more year ? Couldn't he stay one more year in the show that made him who he is ?
If all those rumors are true then he really is just one selfish actor who don't even care about the fans. But maybe he should remember that the fans make him live, 'cause no fans = no show ...

There not killing Peyton off what's the point of killing her off is Lucas isn't going to be around. If that was the case or if Chad/Lucas were staying they would have just had Hil stay on.

It's more along the lines of LP are leaving TREE HILL TOGETHER.

It certainly sounds to me like she is not going to be on the show next season and my best guess is that it's because her future on OTH is tied up with CMM's.

If Chad were opting to return for a full season next year, then Hilary would have been asked back. And unless they want to do something really drastic in order to let Peyton stay in Tree Hill "all alone" (like kill off the Lucas character in the season finale), it would just be weird to have Peyton there without Lucas at this point in their relationship/storyline.

Now, writing the above really made me wonder how they're going to exit both characters .. and I had this awful thought that they might have Peyton die (promos have shown Lucas telling Peyton that having/carrying the baby could kill her) .. and then THAT provides a valid reason why Lucas might want to leave Tree Hill (and still allow him for a guest spot next season if he was agreeable).

And I realize that I am saying that they'd be willing to kill off Peyton, but not Lucas .. and yes, I actually think this to be true .. because the show was originally conceived with Lucas as the lead character .. and so much from his POV .. and operating on the idea that season 7 WILL be the last, I do believe they'd be much more willing to have Peyton die. Not that I want this to be the case.

Of course, Leyton could still leave Tree Hill together, both alive .. but with a good reason to move elsewhere (and still plenty of drama about it).

I read somewhere that nobody has signed yet, so all the rumors we hear are rubbish. I've also heard that Chad has pitched a storyline for next season. If that is true, why would he ditch a show but do that?

The destiny of Peyton Sawyer lies in a few places.
A. The writers creativity.
B. Hilarie Burtons willingness to come back
C. How much they are willing to pay her(may be quite the incentive to return).

I am praying that Chad doesn't leave. Especially since in somewhat recent interviews he has stated that he would love to come back but it's up to the CW. Why would he say that if he was intending on leaving?

Season 7 will most likely be the last season of OTH, and it started with the core 5, and it should end with the core 5.

I'd be very upset if Hilarie didn't come back, whether it be her decision or the writers.

First, I want to say that i don't blame Chad for wanting to move on. I'm sure its tough working on the same thing for six years. And though i was not thrilled about it, I was prepare to watch season 7 without him. HOWEVER, now i'm hearing that Peyton Sawyer is exiting as well? Peyton Sawyer= One Tree Hill for me. How could they do it without Hilarie? If that is the case, then they should just end the show while its hot. Instead, i'm guessing that Hilarie Burton is loosing a job (and Peyton fans are loosing a fav character)just so Lucas and Peyton can end up happily ever after. She did say it was a creative decision...AND NOT HERS. That makes me incredibly sad. My question is, if you can end Leyton then why can't you just end the show? Its had a good run and deserves a good ending. I love Sophia, Bethany Joy,and James, but there will be a huge void in the show. And I love Mark Schwahn, but i'm not happy with his decision to keep going this way.

OMG. i think it means peyton is going to die in the show. cuz in the new trailers for the next episode , it says that if she has the baby, she's going to die. and lucas wants her to give up the baby so she could live, but peyton doesn't want to. and since chad michael murray is most likely not gonna be in season 7, i think that's how the writers wrote him out. like peyton dies, then lucas gets so torn up about it, so he leaves tree hill because it has to many memories. because it wouldnt make sense for the 7th season if lucas just left peyton. so they killed peyton...

Yeah, I agree that they maybe asked her to leave. And I will withhold comment on that, but boy do I have a comment.

But it also really sounds like she really really can't say what is going on, which is all well and good if she is in fact staying, but kind of stinks if she's going. I feel for her. She looks so sad and almost tortured by all of this in that video. Poor Hilarie!

(And, on another note, you guys should definitely discuss this on the podcasts when the show come back!)

To me, she was saying that she's not abandoning the show, and would stay forever if she could. BUT because Chad is leaving, the writers have asked her to leave so that they don't break up leyton again and completely shatter Lucas's credibility. Boo Chad! Look how sad you have made Hilarie! You could have stuck in there for one more season! Poor form man!
