One Tree Hill: Is Chad Michael Murray Out?
Here's the deal: A home-made video is making the rounds of Chad kibitzing with his loyal fans, telling them that he's not coming back to the show because the show doesn't want him because they don't want to spend the cash. We've got to say, we find this hard to believe. In what universe would the show not want one of its star players back? Have we strayed into CrazyTown?
The media is similarly baffled. E!Online's spoiler chat reports that "CMM's people are in negotiations with the One Tree Hill studio," but elsewhere they say that they're working on getting official word from the network, studio and Murray's reps. Whatever the truth is, we find ourselves agreeing with BuddyTV: "The way the news was released -- in an amateur YouTube video -- feels a bit like breaking up with someone in a Post It note. "
So what do you think, folks? Should we take this at face value? Is it the economy, stupid? Or is this all a tempest in a teapot, a weird negotiating ploy, or evidence that aliens have taken over the entertainment industry? Talk about it in the comments!

I am one tree hill's biggest fan from Norway. they caaan't let Chad leave. they can't. When i first heard that, i just waned to crie.. I really hope anyone helps him to stay in one tree hill. I hope to gad i will stay

Chad is a huge part of OTH. His the main person keeping it together. Without him there is no OTH. period chad made OTH what it is today. I love one tree hill.

i just read in a magazine today(australian) that he might be leaving, i was shocked! they cant let him go, so i decided to investigate it further to see if it was true, but i still dont know if it is

Oh my f*** god! CHAD MICHEAL MURRAY OUT OF ONE TREE HILL : THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, The caracter "Lucas scott" is one of the best, the story can't continue without him!!
And as HUGE fan of OTH I'm chocked, and I'm gonna protest and fight for his "come back", WE can not let the -producers- chuck CHAD out...
We had share his joy,his sorrow,his distress WE CAN NOT LET HIM GO AND WE DON'T WANT TO...
So I'm talking to all the fans: REACT, SUPPORT HIM, HELP HIM....!

i think chad just wants more money and since they cant or wont give him more money he's been planning to leave and that video was just a stunt to make the producers look bad instead of himself

I'm wondering if this isn't just a big hoax perpetrated by the actors/actresses and producers? I believed CMM was leaving the show more BEFORE his YouTube video....That seemed almost scripted to me...Out of character even...I have to say I'm suspicious!

they are not rumors anymore you can see the video at youtube. how can the network not want him anymore when they just let him write and direct his own episode ?

WHAT?!?! i don't know if i believe any of this at the moment. i just want to hear from either OTH's peeps or Chad's peeps ... and then maybe i'll believe it.
i knew that he wanted to leave after this season, but i don't believe all these rumors going away for his reason why. i think i will continue to believe that he just wants out for his own future plans until i hear otherwise.

Since when can't people talk to others about what's on their mind? Chad probably didn't know he was being taped. It seems that he was venting to his fans about the status of his return to season 7. I vent about my job all the time to family, friends and co-worker...so what? Thankfully my comments don't get taped and uploaded to the internet for everyone to dissect and discuss. Shame on the "videographer" for not telling him he was being recorded. Hopefully CW is smart enough not to pay any attention to all this nonsense.
