Finale Countdown: Smallville and Supernatural
It's two potential world-ending events for the price of one this week on The CW Thursday night! We're counting down to the end of the season for Smallville and Supernatural -- and the tension is killing us! Fortunately, we have some clips and an exclusive tour to keep us occupied while we wait!
First, Smallville promises us doom, and lots of it, in its season finale:
And Supernatural? Well, we've got the fight to stave off the end of the world:
Perky, isn't it? But wait, there's more! After the jump, we have more clips from both shows -- and an exclusive tour of the Daily Planet set with Jimmy Olsen!
In case you didn't get the impression from the first trailer, things are not so good for Clark -- and possibly all human life -- on Smallville:
But lest you get too depressed, we can remind you of Smallville in happier times. We get a guided tour of the Daily Plaent from ace photographer Jimmy Olsen -- before he was drugged up, disgraced and working for Ollie!
Then there's Supernatural, which promises us angels, demons, and something more terrifying than either. First, Sam and Ruby contemplate their role in preventing the end of the world -- and wonder if anything can prevent the end of Sam:
Then, Dean consults with Zachariah on exactly what he's expected to do. The Angels don't have much news for him, but he's not allowed to complain:
And finally, the most terrifying moment of all. Bobby Singer reacts to Dean writing off Sam. We'll take facing the Apocalypse over dealing with a disappointed, pissed-off Bobby any day!

WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE MEAN BY THE END OF THE SEASON? WELL WE STILL GET NEW EPS. TO WATCH? YOU CAN'T GET RID OF IT...DA SHOWS LIKA A DRUG IT HAS ALOT OF ADDICTS ADDICTED TO IT......PLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZ DON'T END IT FOR GOOD. I honestly cant wait to see what happens to sam. I am begging for him to finnaly embrace what he can do fully and stop worrying about dean and his bigotry on demons. I hope ruby also makes quite a few appearances in the next season and hopefuly the brothers will patch things up together. (Even though i'm also hoping sam goes demon permeantly.)

What's sad is that Bobby made me cry from a minute long clip. Damn he's good. I also agree that John was a coward because he couldn't deal with anything.

Stressed so badly over Supernatural right now! God the show is just soo AMAZINGLY AWESOME! The effect it has on me and everyone I've introduced to the show is, well... unnatural :S in a good sense. This finale looks like a "killer", hope us fans are left breathing when it's all done. The summer hiatus is going to be HELL ON EARTH... POOR SAM AND DEAN :((

Oh my gosh, the Supernatural finale is sure to just about kill me, Kripke and Co. are just brilliant!!! I'm really looking forward to watching the finale but I'm not at all eager for an almost 4 month cliffhanger wait, just the thought of it......aaaaaaaarrrrgggggghhhhh!!!! I hope Sam and Dean can resolve their massive issues and repair the brotherly bond, like Ruby said, they always do and like Bobby said, that's what family is all about but I'm sure the writers will make the viewing audience suffer long before that happens.............pass the tissues please?

I can't wait for SPN season finale!! Looks intense. I jut don't want to watch Dean and Sam fight. Because by them fighting it will break Dean's heart. They really need to kill Ruby this is all her fault about what Sam is up too!
