Gossip Girl gets off their Duff
The Gossip gang will be joined by a new drama queen next season – for a few episodes at least. EW’s Michael Ausiello broke the casting news, saying multi-hyphenate Hilary Duff will play Olivia Burke, a movie star – so… not a big stretch from reality? – who ends up roomies with Vanessa at NYU. Fans – or Duff detractors ready to snark at their boob tube – will have to wait until the upcoming season’s fourth episode (Oct. 5) for Hil’s GG debut.
Ah, but that’s not all…
...the romantic entanglements (and untangling) will continue with Chuck and Blair keeping cozy and some Dan/Serena character development outside their relationship, according to Kristin Dos Santos. The E! Online TV maven also dishes that we’ll finally get to meet Serena’s papa this fall.
Also, file this one under “Life is Totally Unfair”: Blake Lively doesn’t diet or exercise to get that killer figure constantly shown off in skimpy outfits, according to People.com. She may panic occasionally about how she’ll look for a photo shoot but goes for the chips and soda anyway. But, don’t worry, she’s thinking of getting a trainer because she knows exercising makes you feel better.

I completly disagree with Rachel! Hilary Duff is a great actress! She was not only in movies becouse "they thought it would bring a lot of people who listen to her songs to watch the movie"!!!! She is in movies becuase she has an amazing talent! Her music is great, and I am not sure that it will boost Gossip Girl's ratings, but it will make it a lot better! Hilary will add so much to the show, and cause a lot of drama, I am sure! Way to go Gossip Girl, you have inally gotton a good guest star! Even if you don't like Hilary as an actress, I think that we can all agree that she will be better than Aaron Rose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hilary Duff is an AWFUL actress (she was only in movies because they thought it would bring a lot of people who listen to her songs to watch the movie) and still her music is TERRIBLE. What is gossip girl thinking?? Do they really think this will boost their ratings? This will only make people vomit at her terrible acting!!
This is a bad choice. Bring in some amazing actors to play the parts for Gossip girl. Not less than average actors that have music careers.
