One Tree Hill Podcast: "Truth Doesn't Make a Noise"
The One Tree Hill folks threw Naley one heck of a party, and we were loving every minute of it -- except the bits involving Deb. What happened to her? Did she steal all of Dan's eeeeeeeeeevil? Because he was happily slurping down Jell-O and apologizing for his sins, while Deb was being a massive bee-yotch to her son, daughter-in-law and new in-laws. What gives?
We were loving the party, but we loved Haley's defense of her parents even more. Go, Hales! That put Deb in her place! But just when we were getting to really, really love Haley's parents, we find out they're taking off in an RV. Noooo! Don't leave us!
In other news, Brooke introduced the concept of the elevator list -- a concept we embraced. Can you guess which CW folks are on our lists? And who's on yours? Plus, we wonder about Whitey, want some of Dan's magic Jell-O, and applaud Karen's decision to go back to school. Lucas was making sense this week -- maybe Skills' theory about the hair is right!

loved this podcast as usual, however, i wish you guys would discuss stuff more in detail, cos sometimes it's very off topic, just saying :) but i still love every single one.
Hmm..sarah is going to become irritated by mouth and his storylines further into the season, one word: brooke! hahahaha, it's also a fantastic brooke/lucas season :)

loves the podcast :) I totally agree that it's fun to hear different peoples perspectives, especially if they're watching it for the first time. you will definitely love the next episode, it's one of my favorites :) anyways, here's my de elevator list:

i am in love with james lafferty and have been since season one =) soooo HOT!!
oh and dan has like phoenix something something that makes him nice. the doc said it at the beginning. not sure if it's true but that's what he said.
love this episode cuz haley put deb in her place when she was being such a witch and had no right or reason to.
i LOVED the fake cough thing that brooke and peyton did lol just cracks me up.
the next episode is by far my favorite of this season, aside from the finale. i hope u like it as much as i do!

Completely agree with you MattJ. I actually didn't like season 2 as much the first time I watch it but everytime I rewatch it I love it more and more! The storylines were so great...especially for the storylines they set up for season 3! And the season finale is the BEST season finale they ever had! So excited to listen to the season 2 podcasts and really hoping you get to do seasons 3 and 4 eventually too!
Hope you guys enjoy season 2 as much as I do!

I hate it when people give season 2 a lot of flack lol. I love season 2. If it wasn't for season 2 i wouldn't love the characters as much as i do. It developes them all so well. I didn't even really like Brooke, Nathan or Mouth until this season.

In regards to Dan's odd behavior, the doctor at the beginning of the episode told Deb that recovering heart attack patients often experience mood-altering states of euphoria. I have no idea if that is true.
This is a nice episode, but a bit slow. Longtime fans of the show (I've been hooked since the pilot aired) often criticize season 2 unfairly. I think it does a great job of developing the characters, and has a lot of fun story lines, but many of them are with the older cast. The biggest problem is that the major payoffs for the work done in season 2 happen in seasons 3 and 4. I do hope you'll have the time to eventually podcast those seasons as well. It is really a lot of fun reliving these seasons through you; I've watched them all several times, and it is easy to forget the impact they had the first time I saw them.

As always I loved the podcast ♥ It is really exciting to hear fresh perspectives. I watched the episode right before listening to the podcast so I guessed at a few things you might wonder about, such as Tric. You are right this episode is the beginnings of Tric.
