The Gossip Girl Big Bad Bracket: Blueblood Division

We're back with more from the Gossip Girl Big Bad Bracket. The Fashion Week Division brought us some exciting matchups -- and a few completely uneven contests. J's Mullet didn't stand a chance against Serena's Assets, which got 75 percent of the votes. Chuck's Fashion Choices were similarly dominant over the Blair Clones -- there aren't enough headbands in the world to overcome plaid, argyle, and a blaze-orange trench coat.

Things were a little more even in our other two contests. Fauxcialites put up a fight, but they fell before the one-two punch of neon and fingerless gloves from 80's Fashion Montages. And OC Recycle Agnes used her brat-powers to the fullest, but she couldn't withstand the assault form One-upping Eleanor Waldorf. Nice, try, Agnes!

Now we're on to round two: the Blueblood Division. Can Quasi-incest compete against Family peer pressure? Will Mother-daughter muses take out Jet-setting? Can Morality clauses stomp WASPy football scrimmages? And will Unfaithful cougar duchesses take a bite out of Andrew McCarthy? Your votes decide! Polls are open until July 21, so get to it!

Quasi-incest
Things got weird for Dan and Serena when Lily and Rufus started dating. Serena was no stranger to odd family relations – stepbrother Chuck’s habit of waking Serena up with breakfast in bed was beyond creepy.

Family peer pressure
Can’t these kids just enjoy high school and college like normal teenagers? Getting pushed into mayoral internships and running multi-million dollar corporations at 17 is more soul-sucking for a kid than J’s mullet was for fashion.

Mother-daughter muses
Whether posing “tastefully” for Mapplethorpe or Serena’s boyfriend Aaron, the van der Woodsen women were inspiration with a trust fund.

Jet-setting
Hate your mom? Hop a flight to Spain! Need to buy Bavarian bon-bons? Jet to Germany! Virtually all of your Upper East-side problems can be solved with a plane ticket.

Morality clauses
Apparently a 17-year-old high school student could run a company if he banished his baser instincts. However, it was hard for Chuck Bass to abandon his hedonistic ways when his uncle kept throwing hired escorts his way.

Waspy football scrimmages
Crabcakes and football, that’s what the Vanderbilts do! Slumming it in Ralph Lauren, Nate and his Vanderbilt family engaged in a trial of preppy masculinity.

Unfaithful cougar duchesses
Duchess Beaton descended a bit below her station with her tawdry statutory relationship with Nate. Things got even more twisted when we discovered her en flagrante delicto with her stepson, Marcus. And they say royalty is uptight.

Andrew McCarthy
Revisiting the 80’s just isn’t complete without a star of the era. Former heartthrob Andrew McCarthy played Lily’s father and L.A. executive, Italian sports car and all.
