The Sourcies Get Villainous, Plus a Plea to Play Nice
The Sourcies is taking a look at the great CW villains ... and worrying a little bit about villains in our own midst.
Here's the deal, folks: We want this to be fun for everyone. We've tended to shrug off complaints about cheating, since it looked like it could go either way. But recently, the evidence has been pretty damning that someone is gaming the system. We've tried adding another layer of poll security, and we'll see how that goes. If suspicious activity keeps up, we may have to take other measures, which could suck some of the fun out of the Sourcies. We don't want to do that. We expect you to play nice with each other. Don't make me turn this Sourcies car around!

 AlastairSupernatural Alastair, head torturer of souls in Hell, is "Picasso with a razor" -- and he certainly knows how to cause both physical and emotional anguish. Not only did he torture Dean for the equivalent of 40 years in Hell, he also convinced Dean to start carving up souls himself - and that was what kick-started the Apocalypse. This makes him a certified bad-ass. |
 DoomsdaySmallville This is the alien ass-kicker who killed Superman in the comics... and caused a fair bit of angst on the show. The son of Zod and Faora, Doomsday was sent to earth to destroy. It used Davis Bloom as a host body, came out to rip people to shreds, and even broke up Jimmy and Chloe's wedding. The final battle was less doomalicious than we would have hoped, but he still managed to kick Clark's butt a bit. |

 Jen90210 We thought Naomi was a bad girl – but then we met her sister! Jen took Ethan's virginity, stole the valedictorian spot in high school and schemed her way through West Bev. But that's nowhere near as evil as when she tricks Liam into sleeping with her. Naomi suspected Annie of the crime, and turns to her sister for comfort. Jen is happy to give it – especially now that she's put her sister into place. |
 Poppy Lifton Gossip Girl Poppy seems like nothing more than a publicity-bait socialite... but she's not what she seems. She's a fauxcialite who's out to bilk the rich out of their hard earned (or hard-inherited) cash, working in conjunction with Gabriel. She even had the gall to show up at Lily's apartment and gloat! We hope that whatever Georgina did to her, it hurt. |

 XavierOne Tree Hill Jack Daniel's brother was basically the source of all evil on One Tree Hill this season -- he's the one who beat Brooke in her store and stole her drawing, who killed Q, and who kidnapped and menaced Sam. His actions left everyone reeling in Tree Hill -- and made us glad when he was finally put behind bars. |

Alastair! LOL, even though sometimes i didnt understand what the heck he was saying most the time. This Poll's comments is a daily Supernatural Fan covo. Alastair cancels out every nominee! Come on guys he tortured people in hell SO technically he KILLS Xavier while hes on hells torture table. Think of it that way :D

seriously, some random attacker from oth cannot compete with the SUPER BAD ASS that is alastair. that guy was just bad news and scared the s** out of everyone. dude, when he first showed up and the virigin mary statue was bleeding from the eyes?? that was just insanely freaky. a demon that just shows up and a statue that just starts bleeding? and alastair is the one who has been haunting dean for a hella long time.
as his mythology comes from the torturer of hell, he's lilith's right hand man, and the guy who almost killed dean and cas?
no competition here. xavier v alastair in bad ass villian? the thought is hilarious. makes me laugh that anyone considers that the oth guy has a chance.

One question: How could Supernatural NOT win Best Villain? I mean... it's SUPERNATURAL. They specialize in bad-ass villains. The very thought of some pansy dude from OTH being more villainous than freaking Alastair makes me chuckle.

Uhmm.. yeah for once Supernatural gets my vote even though I haven't seen an episode in my life nor will I watch one because it's not my type of show. Usually I vote for OTH but.. that guy? Seriously? Bad choice. I didn't know that was his name. Should've been Dan or Nanny Carrie, but not this dude!

This is definitely one instance where I keep seeing people admitting that their show's villain isn't all that scary, and yet they still vote for him.
PEOPLE. This isn't a competition to get your show the most Sourcies. This is to find out which show had the most villainous villain. (P.S. I don't know who wrote the title of this poll, but whoever it was needs to discover the joys of spell-check.)
That being said - is there really any villain on here that can possibly compare to Alastair? Sure, I, being an avid SPN watcher, might be biased, but come on. I watch OTH, but Xavier was laaaaame. That whole fight between him and Brooke made me laugh. Sure, he was a creeper, I guess, but even so. Between Alastair and Xavier? No competition. It's embarrassing to even have Alastair listed among these other "villains."

Alastair. No question about it. There's no competition here.
He's the baddest ass demon next to Azazel with some sort of villianish charm that Lilith couldn't even compete with.
I wish you put video for this one. Those who don't watch Supernatural should know his real demonic side which can't always be put into a few words description. And I can't really tell how the other villains are (besides GG, Smallville, OTH; the other shows i watch) without maybe a clip or something.
Anyway, thanks cw source! The sourcies are fun and I hate to see some people cheating on them since it's only to pass time until the fall shows start up again.

Are you serious? Cheating? Some fans just can't accept that their show's suck.. sorry people.
But I feel really bad for the nominees in this catagory. There is no competition between any of them. Alastair was hand's down the BEST bad guy out of all of them.

I am a huge one tree hill fan, and without reading the description I had no clue who the hell Xavier was. Yes, he was a 'villain' of sorts, but not a prominent, well remembered villain in oth history. when referred to, he's known as "the guy that attacked Brooke and killed Quentin," and "oh yeah, he's also jacks brother and kidnapped Sam." really though, he wasn't hugely involved with storylines , except for killing Q. they should have picked Dan, the long reigning Tree Hill villain, or even Nanny Carrie. For Gods sake, she tried to kill haley! And Dan will always be Dan. even though he tried to play nice guy with Jamie this season, eventually Jamie found out he killed his uncle Keith, so we again see old storylines reappearing. Whatever, I still voted oth, although I was tempted to side with SPN.

If anyone else besides Alastair wins this one, I will be amazed. He is the epitome of villain. In fact, he goes way beyond villain status, in my books. But that's not to say that I don't think he was a total bad-ass character! Seriously; the actors who played him were phenomenal.
SPN gets this one, hands down.

Alastair was definitely THE villain. And the actor who played him was amazing. And Alastair actually achieved in breaking Dean. No one could do that. Gotta give the guy some evil credit.
