One Tree Hill: Season Seven - Expect To See Some Familiar Faces
They've commenced filming in Wilmington and the airing of season seven is right on the horizon. And now we're hearing that some old One Tree Hill friends may be back to join us. Now don't get riled up, and please don't shoot the messenger, because it’s not Hilary or Chad.
But it is good news.
According to our dear friend Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly there’s a good chance that some of our favorite peripheral characters will be returning to Wilmington next season. In a recent Q&A with the gossip guru, a fan asked if Kate Voegele, Ashley Rickards and Stephen Colletti will be reprising their roles as Mia, Sam and Chase at some point during season seven. Aussie said that Kate and Stephen are both a definite yes and Ashley is a maybe.
Frankly, if Sam can't make it into the storyline we won't be too broken hearted. Let's face it -- it’s time for Brooke to move on, quit all of the mommy business and resume her fabulous life that may or may not involve finally falling in love! But it would be nice to see Kate return. What's a musical montage without her?
What do you think about these characters returning? Could Mia come back without Chase? And if Sam does return, shouldn't they bring back Jack Daniels as well (if not just for the simple enjoyment we get from writing the character's name?). Tell us in the comments!

I love one tree hill. I was sad to see that Chad and Hilarie decided to leave, but I believe that Sam should come back. Sam and Brooke were excellent together last year, and we get to see a side a different side of Brooke.

First I have to say, I have loved all seasons.I was dissapointed to here Peyton and Lucas wouldn't be back for season 7, but wanted to watch with an open mind. I like all the new characters and potential storylines to be developed, but have to admit the overall "tone" of the show is flat without Peyton and Lucas--they were alway the thread between all the characters, the stories were rich and deep and that seems to be missing now. Lucas's commentary at the begining/end of the show was so beautifully written in past seasons, it is greatly missed in the new season. Not to lessen my admiration for any of the existing characters, I love them all (ok, maybe with the exception of Dan and Rachel, that feels a little weird so far--Dan is almost "zombie" like ??)...but....I'm hoping there are talks of writing Peyton and Lucas back into the show, as I think it will bring back some of the heart and soul from the original seasons.

Soooo....I'm pretty sure taking chad and hilary out was the BIGGGGGEST MISTAKE EVER! Like such a good ending with payton having her baby girl and then just totally not having chad and hilary in it anymore I hope they know they might..actually no wait not might they ARE going to lose A LOT of one tree hill fans..thankss

Ok well for one I have been a avid follower for years. I have even put my kids to bed early so I could focus on the show! I truly believe that Lucas and Peyton leaving is a horrible mistake! Also I would love to see Sam back. However Mouth & Millies story lines do desire improvement. I can't wait for the new season to start!!!!!!

haha, agreed alexandra. plus s7 is jumping ahead about a year so brulian will have been together that long. anyways, i could soooooo do without mia, chase, sam, and even mouth and millie at times. i can't get enough of naley. and i love brooke, and it seems that along with brooke comes julian. but last season mouth/millie scenes were somewhat forced and they didnt't go along with storylines at all. they were just thrown into every episode with like one scene, it got obnoxious. but i do have to admit, chase and mia are cute. but that's gonna get annoying and old really quickly. what's oth with no couple drama?
