She is pretty but to say precisely, IMHO the most beneficial CW fight was Castiel vs. Dean.

As horrible as it sounds, I was so happy when Cas was beating him up. Dean was being such an ass-butt that whole episode.

I wish we didn't have to, but bot voting has been rampant and we got sick of hearing people yell about it.

Yes Mia, TVD's is suprisingly good! Not as good as SN when it started but certainly better than SN now!!!!!

I recommend you give TVD's a shot. The Salvatore brothers and their relationship is interesting and complex. The writers seem to love them equally and don't go out of their way to use one to prop the other.

Damon is my favorite brother, but I have grown to like Stephan as well (once they stopped trying to Mary Sue him up).

omg how could u supernatural fans be put off the show. Its awesome. i actually enjoyed that scene even though i love dean, thought it was great to see cas in action and beatin someone up. GO SUPERNATURAL!.

Oh goodie. The Casapologists have taken over from the Samaplogists who also insisted that Dean deserved the beat down last year.

And of course, the show's writers seem to agree with both.

Guess I'm the only one who misses the days when Dean was actually allowed to be a badass.

Guess I'll jump on the ex-Supernatural fan bandwaggon as well.

So is TVD's good? Do the writers actually like and care about all their characters or do they play favorites too? No point committing to another show that's going to turn to crap because of in-show politics.

Dean did not deserve the beatdown. He was between a rock and a hard place and no one gave him any support and understanding or any other ideas for that matter. Hell, even alot of the audience didn't understand why Dean didn't say yes to Michael, including Misha who stated recently that he didn't understand why the show chose not to go in that direction.

Cas not only let Sam out of the panic room last season, he kept the angels agenda from the brothers and helped hold Dean hostage until it was to late to stop Sam. For Cas now to say that he gave up everything for Dean tells me he's sorry for trying to make up for what he did and wishes he would have remained Zach's butt monkey!

He half assed apologized to Dean in a later episode saying that Dean wasn't the broken man he thought he was. Well if Cas thought that Dean was a broken man, why the hell would he think the proper response would be to kick him while he's down? Cas turned out to be just another person in Dean's life who is a bottemless pit of me me me! Not to mention he easily went along with the "be a blood junkie and say yes to Lucifer plan". Dean is supposed to suck it up and be the rock for everyone else at all times, but noone is willing to do the same for him. And in those moments when Dean is overwhelmed and can't be the rock for 5 seconds, he's punished for it!

So the one sided non fight wasn't necessary or deserving but it is typical for this show!

Well Dora, then I guess I'm no longer a fan. Especially after the way the season ended.

I was going to abstain but I think I'll vote for TVD instead.

the only reason i voted for supernatural in this category was because i know there were TONNES of better fight scenes throughout the entire season. why they chose this particular scene escapes me, since almost every other episode contains a legit fight between sam/dean/a villain, with everyone fighting back, not just taking some hits.
basically, my vote goes for THOSE incredibly well done fight scenes.

on a side note, the oth one was kind of lame--they were just patting each other away; the only other good fight scenes were tvd's and smallville's, but spn deserves this one seeing as how this season was basically a battle season.

Lol the reasons I see for not voting for Supernatural are weak. Sure Supernatural had better fights, but this scene wasn't bad either.

Sick of Dean being someone's punching bag? Well no one really wants Dean to be beaten up, but look at it in a point of Castiel. I thought it was pretty much justified. Even though u guys are Dean fans, know that Castiel lost all his power and his family to help Dean who is deciding to become Michael's vessel - everything Castiel sacrificed for Dean would've meant nothing. Who wouldn't be pissed? Some think that Castiel went too far, but then that's the thing, Castiel vented his frustration and it would've been a major letdown to only see him just take Dean back to Bobby's with no fight.

A pretty good nomination overall, and Misha Collins did an excellent job of portraying Castiel's anger here. That's where my vote goes.

Rachel - no ones voting for Dean getting beat down. We're voting on the scene overall. He got beaten by Sam in last years Sourcie of best fight, but its not like we enjoyed seeing Sam turn against his brother. It was heartbreaking! Don't take the nomination as literally as a personal attack to Jensen Ackles' character.

Spn is the best, no matter what. Dean deserved the beat down, he can be a jerk when he wants, but I love him, but CASS, own, he's the best. Smallville and Vampire Diaries, as OTH, are cool, but nothing like SPN.

I always vote for SPN but I'm not voting for the Dean-Cas fight because I'm sick to death of Dean being everyone's punching bag.

It's enough to turn me off the show altogether.

VD, OTH, Smallville...anything but that boring SN scene. It meant nothing. Wasn't even in the top 100 best fights of Supernatural. I can't believe any SN fan would vote for Dean getting beat down. Hmm it shows the way this show is going that 'fans' actually vote for a hero to be beat down for trying to save the world.

The Vampire Diaries. I'm fan of Supernatural but that wasn't a fight!
And honestly The Vampire Diaries fight was The Best.

The vampire diaries. Hands down. Does anyone know when the second season of the vampire diaries premieres?

I understand the frustration, but what people seem to be forgetting is that The Vampire Diaries IS by far the highest ratest show on the CW. And I've lost count of the number of times I've read about people watching the whole season after hearing such kudos for the finale.

As the Sourcies spokesperson said, the surge in votes came from the link being posted on several TVD related sites (and there are a LOT out there).

I voted for Supernatural. I love OTH, Smallville and 90210 but the Cas and Dean fight was insane. The meaning behind the fight was what made this fight amazing.

The CW or the CW Sourcies people are obviously cheating..

I heard the Vampire Diaries choice went up a thousand votes in just 1 night.

Anyways, my choice went to Clark vs Zod from Smallville, because it actually is the best fight.

Cas and Dean!

Since Dean wasn't fighting back I cannot consider Dean/Castiel to be a fight. That was a horrific beatdown, nothing more IMO.

Castiel beating Dean is more than just a straight up fight, it's a shift in the way the characters relate to each other and it reveals just how broken and desperate Dean is, willing and even encouraging Castiel to kill him so he doesn't have to deal with what's coming.

That little pleading 'Do it' gives me shivers.
