Those of you still mourning the loss of Gilmore Girls and a weekly dose of Scott Patterson on your TV screen don't have to grieve any more -- he's signed on to appear in Aliens in America! Zap2it.com reports that Patterson will appear as the father of a dorky Wisconsin teen, replacing original pilot co-star Patrick Breen.
After so many years on Gilmore Girls, it's crazy to think of Scott Patterson in a half-hour sitcom role. He definitely has the chops for it, but we've come to see him and Luke as one and the same -- have you? We're excited to see him take on a different kind of challenge.
