CW Stars Up for Multiple Teen Choice Nominations

Eonline reports that Gossip Girl received a whopping 14 Teen Choice nominations, including Best Drama, Best Breakout Show, and Choice TV Actor/Actress.

It's true that GG is everywhere on the list of nominations. All three female leads (Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, and Taylor Momsen) are up for Best Breakout Female Star, and we were especially excited to see Ed Westwick's Chuck Bass nominated for Choice TV Villain along with Smallville's Michael Rosenbaum. But One Tree Hill also earned its fair share of nominations, including Choice TV Drama, Hilarie Burton and Sophia Bush for Choice TV Actress and Chad Michael Murray for Choice TV Actor. Our complaint: where are James Lafferty and Bethany Joy Galeotti? They deserve some noms, too!

Other shows represented include America's Next Top Model (Cycle 10 winner Whitney is up for Choice TV Female Reality Star, Tyra is up for Choice TV Personality, and the show itself is in the running for Choice TV: Reality Beauty and Makeover), Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious (for Reality Music Competition), and Smallville (Choice TV Show Action/Adventure, Choice TV Actor/Actress Action/Adventure for Tom Welling and Kristin Kreuk). Even Beauty and The Geek made the list with a nomination for Choice TV: Reality Beauty & Makeover.

Notably absent from the list: Supernatural and Reaper. And what about Everybody Hates Chris, Aliens in America, Girlfriends, and The Game? We think these shows were seriously overlooked -- do you agree?

Let us know what you think of the nominations in the comments!

Girlicious: Interviews With The Winners and Robin!

The Girlicious winners, plus creator Robin Antin, talked with Jason C. about everything from that infamous bathtub scene to getting along post-victory. Check out what they had to say and tell us what you think!

In this clip, the girls discuss fan mail, shooting video vs. performing live, and Natalie and Chrystina's struggles along the way. Plus, find out what Robin is like behind the scenes!

Jason C. won't let Robin get away with anything! A few months ago, she told him there'd be three girls in Girlicious, but she decided on four. Find out why she "lied" to him, why she made the surprise decision, and why Charlye was the only one of the final five to get cut. They also talk about when the new Girlicious CD will be released! Girlicious: Watch Their First Live Performance!

Surprise! We found out that Girlicious is a foursome after last night's finale twist. Chrystina, Natalie, Nichole, and Tiffanie performed live for the first time last night, and we were there! Check out their performance in three parts:

Girlicious: It's a Foursome!

Excuse us, but was anyone else wanting to scream, shout and pull out their hair during the finale of Girlicious? It was down to the final five: Nichole, Natalie, Charlye, Tiffanie and Chrystina and the girls had one more opportunity to prove themselves. And only Charlye was sent home! Do you think the judges made the right decision when they kept the other four?

Presenting Girlicious

Let's rewind. First, the girls had to have a check-in with Ron Fair to discuss how well they would fit in with the group. Tiffanie and Nichole discussed how excited they are and how they're ready to work hard, which was expected and totally believable. Natalie made the comment that she feels she is the most compatible girl in the house which made us want to barf. How many episodes were there where she was fighting with everyone but Chrystina? The two of them have been on their own island throughout the competition.

Charlye made the mistake of being honest about her inability to get along with Chrystina and Natalie and said she'd go back to finish school if she didn't make it into the group.

Girlicious Recap: Public Image

We held our breath when Robin started to announce eliminations last week... but no one went home! The final five kept their boas for another week of Girlicious competition, and they actually learned how to get along a little better (well, except for Charlye). Jason C. has the recap on the girls' whirlwind media tour and group performance!

Girlicious: Public Image

Ahhh, at last, a Girlicious episode that didn't disappoint us in some way. Girlicious group hug

With only five girls remaining and two cliques at odds with each other, the girls went into the public image challenge with more growing up to do than ever before. Natalie and Chrystina were excited to find out about this challenge, thinking that their good looks would put them above their competition -- and they voiced this out loud. Of course, their remarks only fanned the flames of tension and put a further gap between the so-called "more talented" girls and the "prettier" girls.

As part of their challenge, the girls had to make a few publicity stops to test out their ability to stay poised during interviews. The first stop -- a radio station, where the DJ asked the usual, "So do you girls hate each other?" questions. Tiffanie was the first to class it up, basically turning the question into a positive and shedding light on the fact that all of the girls are just there to make it into the group. Then the girls were each tested on their singing abilities and Chrystina ended up forgetting the words to her part of the song. Oopsie.

The next stop was the set of Extra, which is where Girlicious's host, Mark McGrath, spends most of his time as an on-air personality.

Girlicious Recap: Star Quality

Last week, the Girlicious competitors hit the high seas to film their first video, and Carrie's overwhelmingly powerful vocals and choreography trouble resulted in her elimination. Get the full recap of "Star Quality" from Jason C.!

Girlicous Recap: Star Quality

With only six girls left to fight it out for the three coveted roles in Girlicious, tensions have risen to a new level. Chrystina continued her downward spiral of feeling bad for herself especially after having been put in a group with her arch enemies, Tiffanie and Charlye. It seems as though she thinks the only person she is competing against is Charlye, which is absolutely ridiculous -- she's competing for a spot in the group with everyone, and most of the girls are more talented than she is.

Nichole, Charlye, and Tiffanie

This week's theme was Star Quality, and the hopefuls got to shoot their first music video. Robin Antin brought her brother in to direct the girls aboard a boat as they lip-synched their way through the song they recorded in the previous Vocal Expression challenge. Carrie did her best to sex it up for the camera but fell a little short when it came to the lip-synching. Charlye smacked it up, flipped it and rubbed it down -- winning this week's challenge and gaining immunity for the elimination.

Girlicious's Jenna Sings And Tells Us What Went On Behind The Scenes

Jenna got the boot last week on Girlicious -- were you surprised? The recent eliminee tells Jason C. about her very first performance -- even as a kid, she was able to get people moving on the dance floor! She also tells us how the show's editing changes things, and of course, we couldn't let her go without getting her to sing a few bars!

Girlicious: Vocal Expression

Does this ego make me look fat?/Egos have been inflated to the point of divadom in the Girlicious pack. As Robin Atin points out, there's a difference between good diva and bad diva. We got a taste of both this week.

Good Diva: Jenna. While we were put off by her explaining to Carrie that in the previous challenge, "(she) was off the chain, don't even trip shorty," and her insatiable desire to make and eat a giant bowl of puppy chow made us a little nauseous, the girl can sing.

Bad Diva: Natalie. Excuse us, but being pretty is a talent? What! She and Chrystine need to get smacked upside the head with a sense of humility and modesty because their "we're prettier than you" act is getting old and isn't cute in the slightest. Besides, if their heads get any bigger there won't be room for them in the group.

Girlicious Recap: Sexy

The girls tried to straddle the fine line between sexy and skanky during last week's dance-off, and the results provoked a major kitchen fight back at the house! Jason C. has the recap of the week when not one, but TWO girls went home.

Girlicious: Sex Appeal

No one saved their drama for their mommas in the Girlicious household in this week's episode. Not that the claws had ever been put away, but the girls grew them extra long for the Sexy competition.

It has been obvious from the get-go that there were two groups being pitted against each other. You've got Jenna, Natalie and Chrystine on one side and Tiffanie, Charlye and Nichole on the other; it was only a matter of time before they had a Sharks vs. Jets catfight. What sparked the drama this week was the sexy dance competition the ladies had to perform with some male dancers who had been brought in to spice things up.

Some of the girls got down and dirty and others played it a little safe. Was it just us, or was this challenge incredibly misleading? Robin was saying that this was supposed to be about sex appeal, but when the girls got too sexy they got kicked to the curb. To Jenna's defense, the girl can't dance so she basically had to lay on the ground and let the guy bump and grind her. Charlye and her man did a great job of showing off sexy moves away from each other, but really, she probably could've done it all by herself and made it look just as sexy. If the point of this challenge was to make something look sexy with a man, Chrystine and her partner looking like they were knockin' boots were the obvious winners. Oooooh, and what a prize they won! Besides gaining immunity, Chrystine (and second place Charlye) received diamond Hello Kitty necklaces!

Now excuse us, but Hello Kitty? Has Sanrio always been a supporter of the Pussycat Dolls?

Girlicious: Girls Get a Makeover!

The women of the Girlicious household got their makeovers in this week’s episode and much like America's Next Top Model, there were some happy campers... and at least one who wasn’t incredibly pumped to have their hair changed. Just goes to show you, you can never make everyone happy.

The show began with the girls coming back from last week’s de-boa, and many of the girls were shocked that Alexis was the one to leave. Chrystina couldn’t believe she was put in the bottom two, and Jenna had some problems with being in the bottom four. What part of “competition” do these girls not understand? We realize that in order to compete, you have to have confidence in your abilities, but in order to change and get better you also need to listen to some constructive criticism and grow from it. Someone will always have to be in the bottom two (or four), we say: get over yourselves.

Girlicious Recap: Charisma

Last week, the girls performed for some candid fans and turned on Ilisa for not being Girlicious enough -- until she topped them all at the challenge. Jason C. has the recap, complete with dance montages and classic Natalie quotes!

Girlicious: Have You Got Charisma?

Is it just us or does it seem as though there are a lot of bullies in the Girlicious household? For some reason, most of the girls seemed to be picking on poor, tall, redheaded Ilisa, saying that she isn't "Girlicious" enough. Some of the girls were sent into gales of laughter when Ilisa offered to help them with their routine. To make matters worse, when Ilisa confronted Natalie and Chrystina about feeling like an outcast, the two went back to their bitchy gossiping ways, saying that Ilisa is too weird and doesn't know how to interact with girls. Excuse us, but wasn't it just last week that Natalie was in tears because the other girls in the house couldn't stand her? How quickly we forget. Seriously, if Natalie ends up being one of the final three, we will have no faith in humanity.

Before this week's immunity challenge, the girls got to experience the charisma of Pussycat Doll frontwoman, Nicole Scherzinger, live. She sang a song off of her new album, Her Name is Nicole, and gave the girls some advice on confidence and charisma. Afterwards, the three groups had to perform one of the Pussycat Doll's songs in front of an audience made up of their fan demographic: young girls. For us, it was the best part of this week's episode. Girls like Tiffany, Alexis and Jenna were dropped down a few pegs. Everyone who was hating on Ilisa got to hear that she was one of the fan favorites, which we were thankful for. It just goes to show, different is good, different stands out and if you've got talent it will trump a cookie-cutter pretty face.

Girlicious: Alexis Speaks... And Sings!

She may not have a shot at being a member of Girlicious, but Alexis isn't letting last night's elimination slow her down. In this interview, she chats candidly with Jason C. about getting cut, what the editors didn't show you, and what's next for her music career. Plus, she sings a cappella!

Girlicious Recap: Confidence

Some girls were simply oozing confidence; others struggled to muster up enough to get by. It was an action-packed episode as the girls prepped for a national anthem challenge and a pop song performance -- with a little help from visitor JC Chasez. Get Jason C.'s recap!
