Prison Break: The Mother Lode
We're back in the thick of things with the return of Prison Break this week. Personal threats, dangerous escapes, and cruel decisions surround the hunt for Scylla from all ends.
The Company threatens Lincoln, Mahone, T-Bag and Self by sending them photos of people they care about to put pressure on them to find Scylla. They've been busy figuring out what the keys they got from the man they shot unlock. But someone else is after Scylla too--Michael!
Meanwhile, Michael and Sara escape a close attack by a Company gunman. Without any resources, Michael resorts to calling Lincoln, but it's dangerous and threatens the deal that protects them. Michael drops the mother bomb on Lincoln--that, yes, their mother is still alive. Michael and Sara barely escape a cop by bribing a ride out of a truck driver, and off they go. Michael toils with his mommy issues--how could she be a Company agent, how could she watch them track down her sons, or was she manipulated like they tried to do to him? During all of his angst, a real problem sneaks up on them. The truck pulls over for a supposed investigation and ends in the truck driver shot.

After Mahone tracks a database of Hold-Secure to help them locate what the keys unlock, they discover locations in Little Havana and by the water. Lincoln and Mahone find a mansion by the water--it belongs to Christina, Lincoln's mother, but no one is home. Mahone figures that Christina must have Scylla. There's a photo left behind.
T-Bag and Self check out a storefront church. T-Bag doesn't have much luck getting in by pretending to be a researcher of Caribbean religions. Something's up there, but Lincoln is busy figuring out the manipulated photo and the odd MLK441 license plate, which is revealed to be an address of an intersection he heads off to check out in the hopes that his mother is not a Company agent.
Christina has Oren shot by his driver for failing to finish off the General, nevermind that Krantz was just exploded in a limo by Oren. Sure enough, the General calls Christina and tries to intimidate her into revealing Scylla's whereabouts. Lincoln hits up the location and finds a restaurant without customers--his mother is there. They have a terse interaction where Christina tells him to wait until she resolves the situation and deals with the General. But Lincoln can't be in touch with her. After he leaves, he has an emotional moment from the stress.
Michael and Sara manage to escape from the truck, but the gunman pulls over and chases after them into a warehouse. Michael knocks him with a piece of wood, but the man has a message for him--he's not going to win, Krantz didn't send him. Then who did? Michael's mother?
Back with Mahone, Self, and T-Bag at the church again, they have another misstep in attempting a disguise. Not really worth it, since it's obviously a hideout. Gun fighting ensues that ends in Mahone and T-Bag killing the priest and finding a stash of weapons and fake IDs. It all connects when Lincoln lines up the dates on the IDs with his mother's request to wait just two days for her to sort things out. He returns to see his mother despite her warning. He waits anxiously. Downey tells Christina that he's too much of a threat but that they have him in sniper sight. He waits for Christina's decision... take him out. How could she?!

Highlights, thoughts and odds and ends
- Emo jocks are in.
- Mean mommies are even more in. We're seeing this theme pop up lately like the older woman warrior trend.
- Whenever we hear Lincoln called Linc, we picture him in a green elfy hat with a sword and can't take him quite as seriously.
