Fox Source: It's Here: The Fringe Big Bad Bracket!

Welcome to the Fringe Big Bad Bracket, where we pit characters, concepts, plot devices and inanimate objects against each other to determine who (or what) was the biggest bad-ass of the season.

Much like the famed NCAA basketball bracket, we pair competitors up in a single-elimination contest. You vote on who you think would win each pairing. The winner advances to the next round, while the loser retires to lick his/hers/its literal and metaphysical wounds.

You'll notice a few notable omissions from the line-up. We don't include the main characters, for a couple of reasons. First of all, what's the point of pitting anyone up against the Peter, Olivia or Walter? It's no contest! Second, quite frankly, we didn't want to start World War III. We're wimpy that way.

With that out of the way, check out the first Fringe Big Bad Bracket. Vote for your favorites, and see who or what advances to the next round! This week, we're starting with the first eight competitors in The Creepy Division. The polls close in one week, so get voting!

Bionic arms: Don't underestimate the power of a good bionic arm. We've seen what they can do! Skin growing over orifices disease: It's contagious, and it grows your eyes and nose and mouth shut. Nuff said.
Psychotropic drugs: Have you ever noticed that Walter seems to start every reminiscence with "Well, Belly and I were taking some LSD" or something? And it's his goto solution for everything. Daddy issues: Oh Peter. At the beginning of the season we thought your father had really messed you up. In the middle of the season we thought you two were patching things up. In the finale we got hints of just how badly he had screwed you up. These are serious daddy issues!
Symbol codes: Yeah, those spooky hands and leaves and apple slices before the commercials. They spell things out, man. Seriously, they do. Terrorist manifestos: You know what we're talking about. It all goes back to the ZFT, no matter what evil it is!
Insane asylums: Got a problem? The answer is always in an insane asylum. Hallucinogenic toads: Gotta love these guys. As long as they're not making you think you're being attacked by killer butterflies.
