Bring on the Tweet-Peats!

tweetpeats.jpgWe here at the Fox Source secret headquarters have decided that "tweet-peats" are officially the best use of Twitter yet, hands down. How would you like running commentary during a favorite show? No, not from that annoying friend who feels they have to dissect every part of every scene (that's what you have us for, silly!), but from geniuses behind the shows?

Wish granted! On Thursday, Sept. 3rd's Fringe, and Friday, Sept. 4th's Glee, tune in to follow along with cast and producers' tweets -- both online via Twitter and on-air via a scroll at the bottom of the screen.

The deets:

  1. Sign up on Twitter (if you haven't already).
  2. On Thursday, 9/8c, follow the Fringe event: twitter.com/FRINGEonFOX
  3. On Friday, 9/8c, follow the Glee event: twitter.com/GLEEonFOX

During the episodes, executive producers Jeff Pinkner (@jpfringe) and J.H. Wyman (@jwfringe), along with cast members Josh Jackson (Peter Bishop - @peterbishop2) and John Noble (@labdad1) of Fringe and cast members Lea Michele (Rachel Berry - @msleamichele), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams - @druiddude), Mark Salling (Puck - @marksalling), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson - @frankenteen), Amber Riley (Mercedes - @msamberriley) and Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel - @chriscolfer) of Glee will talk about the upcoming season, behind-the-scenes secrets and fan questions.

Get the popcorn ready, 'cause we aren't missing this!

I find twitter at the bottom of my TV screen extremely distracting. I turned the show off tonight because of this. I'm glad they won't be there every week. To make matters worse in this area FOX 43 is THE lowest volume station on the air. We have to turn the volume way up to hear the dialogue, add to this the fact that I am hard of hearing & therfore I usually watch this show in the CC mode. Try following the show, reading the CC & the Twitter comments in the background. Impossible.

The Twitter/tweet episode killed this show for me. That has got to be the most insane stupid thing any TV show has done. How can anyone enjoy the show with all that mindless garbage on the bottom of the screen. I absolutely hated it and could not watch the show.

Is Fox 40 trying to see how fast they can get me to change channels? I enjoy Fringe, but I would never watch it with that crap all over the screen. How completely inane and utterly annoying.

Worst Idea Ever !!! Lousy, stupid Awful. Please don't ever spoil a good show like this again!!!!
