House: What Goes Around, Comes Around. Sometimes.

NUP_137763_0330.JPG
Once again, this week on House we were given evidence that our favorite misanthrope has a conscience and really is a good guy beneath it all. Buried far, far beneath it all. Manipulatively so that his secret good side remains hidden.

We heart Orlando Jones! We're thrilled that he was a guest cast member this week, and hope that we get to see more of him here and there as the season unfolds.  When House picked him up from prison and hired him, we were suspicious and in full agreement with Foreman when he said that the sole purpose of hiring him as House's assistant was to mess with Foreman.

Ultimately, we think that House was just being his usual manipulative self, wanting Foreman to give his brother another chance and therefore manipulating the situation so that would be the end result...all the while keeping his reputation as a jackass intact.

Did Wilson and House deserve the pranking they received? More after the jump!

We thought this line was hilarious, and were disappointed in ourselves for falling for the obvious joke intended to bring chuckles.

House: Do you know why you're black?
Football Player: Because God loves me more than He loves you.

It was delivered with the conviction of a confident 21-year old football star, yet with the barest touch of humor and indignant pride, that we couldn't help ourselves and chuckled out loud. Bravo!  We did feel badly for him that he missed his Big Moment to perform for the scouts, but are glad he's still alive.

On to the pranking.

It was well played, setting it up so they would blame each other.  On the other hand, it gave them all an opportunity to mispronounce the word 'opossum' in our opinion. Friends, the 'o' is nearly silent. You must not be from places that have this nocturnal animal.  We can't help it, either, we felt so sorry for that baby one that was terrified in the tub.  He didn't want to be there, he doesn't like the light, and Wilson was freaking him out.  Poor little thing.

Unscrewing the grab bar was really mean, though, as was tripping House so he'd fall flat on his face. We were inclined to like that guy, but we take it all back now.

Will House choose to retaliate after all?  We'll see.....
