FOX Fans: Defend the Hottness Honor of Your Favorite Stars!

Have you been itching for a chance to show your devotion to your favorite FOX characters? Now you have not one but two chances to do just that!

The fine folks at KDVR in Denver are hosting a Battle of the FOX Hotties as we speak. Right now, the Women's bracket is up, but you can still vote in the Men's bracket as well. The second phase of the Men's competition launches Friday, and the second round of Women's matches goes up on Tuesday, February 18 -- so get voting!

Then there's an all networks battle to the death over at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, where CW stars are going up against the juggernauts from the other four broadcast networks. The Bad Boys division (which includes Puck and Peter Bishop -- and Puck is currently losing) is already off the front page, but you can still vote. Keep checking this page throughout the next month to support your fave stars!

* We know, we know -- there are those among you who sneer at such things, who protest that we should focus on the content of the shows and the nuances of the acting rather than the exterior facade of the people who bring our favorite characters to life. And we like to think we do that here... but that doesn't stop us from being able to celebrate the aesthetic pleasures these folks bring to bear. Are we shallow? Maybe. But we are having fun!

Comic Con: Guinness Records for The Simpsons

The fans knew The Simpsons was more important than pesky political events or major disasters -- and now the Guinness Book of World Records agrees. At Comic-Con, Matt Groening was surprised by an award from that other record book ("I'm not from the Duff Book of Records, I'm from the real one," the representative said) for the longest running sitcom in history -- surpassing Ozzie and Harriet's record of 435 episodes. That's on top of the award for most Emmys won by a single show and being named "one of the most important things that have happened in the last 10 years." Take that, Obama!

The Simpsons fans also got some scoop on the upcoming season. Ubiquitous funnyman Seth Rogen will voice a character in the season premiere, and another Judd Apatow regular, Jonah Hill, will appear later in the season. Sarah Silverman will bring voice to Bart's new girlfriend, but don't expect the relationship to go smoothly. Other voices to keep an ear out for: The Smothers Brothers, the Manning Brothers (including the one who doesn't play football, who was the hardest to get), Far Side cartoonist Gary Larsen, and the late Eartha Kitt.

The fans also got a sneak peak at this year's Treehouse of Horror -- which will actually air before Halloween for a change. There's a gorgeous Spellbound homage (the 1945 Hitchcock movie, not the more recent spelling-bee documentary), and an explanation why Indian convenience-store owners may be our best hope when the zombies inevitably rise.

Despite 20 years of episodes, countless cultural references and a hell of a lot of awards, Groening promises the show isn't going anywhere. "The is no end in sight. Simpsons forever!"

FOX Sourcies Bring the Funny

We're back with more from the FOX Sourcies, and this time out, we're asking you to vote on who makes you laugh the most. But first, congratulations are in order to Dr. Jack Hodgins. The bug-and-slime guy from Bones took the Favorite Scientist category, narrowly edging out the eponymous House. We're sure his willingness to make things go boom -- and his propensity for proclaiming himself King of hte Lab -- helped. Chalk up another win for Bones!

But will the show continue its streak? This week, Seeley Booth is defending his show's honor against some seriously funny guys. Will House take his humorous revenge this week? Will Fringes' Walter rise to the top? Or will one of our animated urchins from Family Guy or The Simpsons steal the prize? That's up to you! Polls are open until July 21, so get to it!

Seeley Booth Bones We love a tough guy with a sense of humor -- and Seeley certainly qualifies! He brings that cocky charm to any occasion, and he's always willing to break the ice with a quip. The fact that half the time he's poking gentle fun at Brennan? Well, that makes it even better!		Greg House House House is the insult comic of medicine -- and while we fear his biting wit, we love hearing what he has to say. Just so long as he's mociing Cuddy, Wilson, his minions, his patients... and not us!

Stewie Griffin Family Guy This diabolical baby is intent on taking over the world -- and ripping through the egos of everyone he ever meets. And that's just the way we like it!		Bart Simpson The Simpsons After 20 years, you'd think that Bart would run out of quips. Nope. For his chalkboard meditations alone, he's one of the funniest guys on FOX.

FOX Sourcies: Vote for Favorite Crime Buster!

It's time to kick off the FOX Sourcies! Today, we're taking on the Best Crime Buster. FOX is full of felony-fighting heroes -- both fictional folk who take down killers and real-life figures who take a bite out of crime. Which one will win the coveted Sourcie?

Jack Bauer 24 This season alone, Jack Bauer took out an African warlord, exposed a crazed security contractor, saved the President of the United States and prevented a biological weapon from killing thousands -- at the expense of his own skin.	Seeley Booth and Temperance Brennan Bones Booth has the badge and the people skills, and Brennan has the scientific knowhow to find all the evidence. The two of them make a formidable crime-fighting pair!
Olivia Dunham Fringe In investigating The Pattern, Olivia has gone up against face-melting viruses, human bombs, monstrous creatures -- and even her own past.	John Walsh America's Most Wanted This season, Walsh took on cybercrime, drug-cartel violence and more. It's all part of a show that has caught more than 1,000 criminals over 22 seasons.
Homer Simpson The Simpsons Homer made the most of his time as a bounty hunter and crime buster. He even managed to take out Snake and Fat Tony-- Springfield's Most Wanted!

Find Out When Your Favorite Shows Are Starting on FOX

Counting down the days until your favorite shows come back to FOX? Well, now we've got a date to count down to! The network released its Fall premiere dates, and we're busy marking out calendars. Here's the scoop:

Can't get enough of So You Think You Can Dance? Well, when this season is done, you won't have long to wait for the next one! Season 6 of SYTYCD premieres Weds., Sept. 16. That's followed by the fall premiere of Glee -- get your pitch pipes ready!

September 17 sees the return of Bones and Fringe. We're thrilled to see these two shows paired up (sexy FBI agents and fascinating scientists for everyone!), but we admit to being a little queasy at the thought of so many decayed corpses/buckets of maggots/bizarre creatures/freaks of science in one concentrated block.

We're slightly less convinced abouth the next gathering of shows. The new comedy Brothers begins on Friday, Sept. 18. It's paired with the season premiere of 'Til Death. Two sitcoms together? So far, so good. But those shows are followed by Dollhouse, which... well, one of these things is not like the other. We hope Dollhouse survived the cognative whiplash that comes from that particular part of the lineup.

House gets its two-hour season premiere on Monday, Sept. 21. The next week, Lie to Me settles into its post-House berth. Two misanthropic men of science on one night! Be still our hearts.

Animation Domination returns on Sunday, Sept. 27 with all new eps of The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad. Plus The Cleveland Show gets it's series premiere. We can't wait!

Rounding out the new shows, The Wanda Sykes Show is scheduled to premiere on Saturday, Nov. 7. We're really looking forward to seeing what Wanda does to the late night landscape.

Reasons to be Thankful

As we prepare for the annual Festival of Starch and tryptophan-induced food coma that is Thanksgiving, we've been pondering the things we're thankful for this season on FOX. Here's what's running through our heads as we count our blessings this year:

Our favorite animated families are still bringing the hilarity - even, in The Simpsons' case, after 20 years!
No matter what obstacles are thrown in his way, Michael Scofield always has a plan on Prison Break.
The fabulous relationships on Prison Break. There's the Michael and Sarah love story, of course, but there's also the bond between the brothers, and we still get sniffly when we remember Sucre praying for Michael's health!
Robots just keep getting sexier on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Terminator keeps hitting us with new twists - Riley knows Jesse? Ellison is teaching ethics to a rebuilt Cromartie? What's going on?
That House remains one of the best shows on TV - AND that our doctors don't seem to be turning to House for hints on proper bedside manner!
Finding out Wilson has a dark side that involves jail time and stained glass windows
The House and Cuddy kiss!
Walter Noble on Fringe - we love his stream-of-consciousness food reports, his childlike glee at being out of the mental institution, his matter-of-fact grasp of things that make our head spin - and his frequent paeans to pharmaceuticals. That is one heavily medicated man!
Joshua Jackson is back on TV - and he's got such a juicy part on Fringe!
The continuing knee-buckling chemistry between Booth and Brennan on Bones.
That Brennan figured out that Jared was Booth-Light - and there's no substitute for Seeley!
Sweets!
That Gordon Ramsay is cleaning up the countries restaurants one expletive-laden rant at a time.
Jack Bauer is back - and we'll get Day 7 of 24 in January!
American Idol returns, and there's a new judge to mix up the dynamic. We can't wait to see how Kara DioGuardi shakes things up!

FOX Winter Schedule Announced

Get out your calendars -- FOX is juggling its primetime schedule to make room from returning favorites and highly anticipated new shows alike! To prepare you for the TiVo shuffle, here's the scoop on whenyou can look for your fav shows:

Jack Bauer and co. return with the movie event 24: Redemption on Sunday, Nov. 23. The new season of 24 kicks off with a two-night, four-hour event, Jan. 11 and 12, then settles into its regular times slot on Monday, Jan. 19.

American Idol returns with a two-night, four hour premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 13 and Wednesday, Jan. 14. After that, it's an hour of Idol every Tuesday and Wednesday starting Jan. 20.

The news series Lie To Me will premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 21, after Idol. And Dollhouse, the new show from Buffy/Angel/Firefly Wunderkind Joss Whedon, launches Friday, Feb. 13.
