Christine,

I’d like to let you know about Show-Me Identification Cards & Products, the home-based safety ID card business that my mother, Linda Weber started in the St. Louis area.

The product originated as the result of my father being diagnosed with cancer. Out of concern for his safety, my mom and I created a safety ID card that displayed his name, medical diagnosis, physician’s names & phone numbers and emergency contact names & phone numbers. He carried it with him everywhere.

It made both him and us (the family) feel so much better knowing his important information was readily available for medical personnel or law enforcement in the event of an accident, emergency or medical crisis.

Our simple construction paper ID card idea grew into what is now called the Qcard, safety identification card.

The idea for the card was originally for my dad and his serious medical condition, but my mom realized it is an excellent safety tool for everyone to use...senior citizens, children, handicap, daycare providers, students, outdoor enthusiasts, such as hikers, hunters, joggers...

The Qcard has received endorsements from a retired New York City Police Department Detective, an area physician and a Missouri Hunter Education Instructor. The Current News Magazine recently published two different articles about the business and the safety features of the Qcard.

The Qcard is a fantastic safety product that can help so many people.

Please view her web site at www.showmeid.com. Her contact information is listed on the web site under the “contact us” section.

Thanks,
Jim Weber
