Colonel Tribune -- and the Chicago Tribune – is organizing an informal meetup Thursday, June 12 from 6 p.m. to whenever at Clark Street Ale House, 742 N. Clark.
Look for the Colonel when you get there.

We just had a Tweetup last night in Geneva for us west suburban geeks. I just might try to get down there next week, myself! :)
If any of you Twitter the event, use the hashtag #tweetchi so that Chicagoans can track Chicago Tweetup activity!

What a novel idea for the online community of Chicago, if I were a few thousand miles nearer the event I would certainly be there. Considering posting your message on my blog to nudge the newspaper I work for (Los Angeles Times) to do something likewise.
If anyone is interested, we have Geek Dinners every third Tuesday of the month, at different locations near Los Angeles. Next Tuesday dinner will be held at uWink Restaurant at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood, CA.
