Local heroes - Delray Beach girls raise money for Tri County Humane Society

Chloe, 11, Olivia, 10 and Chloe's mother, Debbie.
Lollipop, Bark and Ku.

Neighborhood boys, T.O., 11, Robby, 15, and Colby, 12
stopped by for some lemonade.
Chloe, 11, and Olivia, 10, both 5th graders spent one afternoon of their spring vacation enthusiastically selling lemonade to raise money for the Tri County Humane Society.
"Our goal was to raise $20 and we did," Chloe said.
This isn't the first time Chloe has raised funds for the non-profit, no-kill shelter. In the 3rd grade, she and some other friends collected toys, blankets along with $120 in donations for the society.
Both Chloe and Olivia adopted their pets from the Tri County and that is one reason they feel so strongly about the organization.
"We have two cats, Lily and Nikki," Olivia said. Chloe's family found their dog, Ku, at the shelter too..
Sounds like Delray is going to the dogs (and cats.) And that's a good thing. Thanks girls.
