Veteran's Day - Honoring Sid Fluss - Marine Corps. Corporal

Sid was born in 1930, in Brooklyn, New York. He was drafted in 1951.
Sid Fluss served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict, from August
1952 to August 1953. SidFluss2.jpg
While on the front lines, his battalion lost half of their men, trekking the
mountains under gunfire. For his bravery, he was awarded The Korean
Service Medal with three Bronze Stars. After the war, was assigned to
the Brooklyn Navy Yard for guard duty and was discharged from there.

Today, Sid and his wife, Alice, live in the Coral Lakes Community of Boynton
Beach, where he loves to play cards and tennis and enjoy the beautiful
Florida lifestyle.
