For the second year in a row, thousands of parents have voted to award
the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum in Boynton Beach as the Best Museum
in South Florida . With their big, colorful, hands-on exhibits and a full
schedule of activities for children of all ages, it’s not hard to see why the
Museum brings families from across the state to Boynton Beach : they make
learning fun for everyone! The Museum’s theme is Florida ’s history, so while
children play with the life-sized cow or giant steam engine, they’re learning
about fundamental parts of our state’s past. Even better, the Museum is
a great place for families to learn together. As Barbara from Highland
Beach writes on parentsconnect.com, “This is the place for imaginations to
soar and for extra special sharing with kids or grandkids.”

The Schoolhouse Children’s Museum & Learning Center makes Florida’s history
come alive for children and families though hands-on activities and interactive
play. A 501(c)3 organization, the Museum is located in Boynton Beach ,
in a 1913 schoolhouse listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
