On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2011, the Greater Boynton Beach Foundation

Chairman of the greater Boynton Beach Foundation, John McGovern, spoke
to the audience, detailing the years of hard work it took to build a park
that would be accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability.
Members of Hunter's Run, with COWBRA and many
local businesses and charitable contributors, worked together to build
a "Legacy of a Better Boynton Beach - from the Ocean to the Everglades."
