Swing & Jazz Preservation Society Final Concert of Season

Bob Davis and his Big Band perform at the Spanish River Performing Arts Center, 2400 Yamato Road, corner of St. Andrews Blvd., Boca Raton tonight at 7:30 PM.

The 16 piece band, plus Ellen Davis, vocalist, play and sing the tunes made famous by Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and Harry James. Davis honed his skills playing for 17 years with Lawrence Welk as lead alto saxophone and flute. He also traveled with Bob Hope on his overseas junkets and played with Les Brown and his Band of Reknown.
