Licensed Clinical Social Worker Provides Free Counseling to Kings Point Residents

Howard Horowitz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Ruth Rales Jewish Family Service, with over 23 years experience. Ruth Rales JFS is a non-sectarian service organization.

Horowitz works out of the WE CARE office in the Main Clubhouse at Kings Point providing information, referral and counseling to those Kings Point residents in need every Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 4 P.M.

Kings Point residents can contact him when he is at the WE CARE office at 381-2039. To leave a message for him on other days, call Ruth Rales Family Service office, 852-3333.

All consultations are strictly confidential.

Tues. August 5, 2 P.M.--Basic Computers. Learn the basics about computerts at this free presentation. Class covers hardware, software, files and networks. For beginners. (90 Mins.) Meeting Room.

Tues. August 5, 12, 19 & September 2, 2-2:30 PM--Poetry Workshop. Award-winning poet Stacie Kiner will conduct a four-week poetry workshop. (90 mins.) Sign up at reference desk. Participation limited to 10. Conference Room.

Wed. August 6, 2 PM--Socrates Cafe. A discussion group for amateur pholosophers on a variety of topics such as integrity, tolerance, friendship, happiness and more. (90 mins.) Meeting Room.
