Neighborhood Food Charities Seeking AssistanceOver the last year, the need for donations by food charities that work to provide for poor residents has increased by over 50%. At the present time, the South Florida area food banks are desperately seeking donations of non-perishable food items such as canned fruits, vegetables, beans, chili, tuna, dried pasta, juice, water, cereal, rice or a monetary contribution of any amount.

Supervisors of Elections in Search of Poll Workers
The Palm Beach and Broward County Supervisor of Elections offices are looking for individuals willing to serve as paid poll workers on Election Day. Workers will be required to attend between 3 and 8 hours of training, depending on the position sought. Individuals must be registered to vote in the county in which they intend to serve as poll workers.
