Job Offerings at Delray Marketplace Publix

On Thursday, January 17, 2013, The 45,600 Square Foot Delray Marketplace Publix will open its doors. This is Publlix Store #1274 located at 9239 Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, FL 33446. A drive through pharmacy will also be located at this store. There will be different events throughout opening day and free food samplings.

Publix chooses its new locations on several factors including population, demographics, location and competition.

According to the latest information from “Publix Careers,” there may still be available Part-time openings for jobs in the following areas:
Stock, Produce and Bakery Clerks
Cashiers and Baggers
Qualifications needed:
•not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last year
•have met the Criminal Background Check (CBC) requirements within the last year and
•meet the rehire eligibility criteria, if previously employed at Publix.
•ability to deliver friendly and courteous customer service
•ability to read, write, and do simple math problems and
•ability to understand and follow instructions.
Note: There may be additional requirements in certain locations depending on local laws and regulations. See the Store Manager for more information.
