Vivi -- not

Bonnie Folz provides this explanation on the hoped-for Vivi sighting at JFK:

<<
It has been confirmed that the dog seen being loaded into the cargo van at Terminal 8 on Tuesday was not Vivi, but a greyhound owned by one of the Philladelphia Flyers players, who transports his dog each season.

I'm happy that Vivi is still on the minds of some, and people do call.

Sorry for the false alarm, and getting everyone's hopes up.

Though it may be a very long shot, I will always keep the faith.

Disappointed? Yes. Grateful for the followup to all Vivi sightings? Absolutely.
Thank you for letting us know and for always keeping the faith.
Mila

I agree 100% Mila. Thank you so much for sharing with us. We will always keep the faith.

SOME DAY....sigh.....
Keep praying and lighting candles people...A lot of us feel she's still alive...

I believe Vivi is out there, Rooby. I'm not giving up. Miracles do happen and just this past year family pets have come home to their owners after being lost for years. Sniffles being found still tears me up when I think of him and his now having a loving forever family. Keep lighting those candles for our Canine Girl.

i need good thoughts and prayers for my friend. Yesterday she
let all her dogs out, and her little 10 yr old whippet got attacked
brutally by her other dogs, my friend jumped on albert ( whippet)
and put him on the other side of the fence to save his life, and
he ran away badly injured. Pls no flaming this could happen to
anyone. She has been looking for him 24/7 and she is devastated
about this. Anyone live near Wappinger Falls, NY that would
be interested in looking for a lost wh ippet. Pls feel free to email me for phone numbers and exact locations.

I will be praying for a good outcome Sue. Please let us know if he's found.

SUEG: Pls tell your friend that it's been posted on some Whippet lists. Praying that Albert is found soon and I hope she has some help flyering.

What kind of moron has a dangerous pack of dogs that allows them to turn on other dogs. That woman needs to be investigated by ASPCA and the dog confiscated.

Go away you a-hole, most of her dogs were muzzled, if you knew anything about sighthounds you would know that this happens
they have a high prey drive. If you have nothing nice to say
go f... yourself, I am sick of your wackos that have taken over
this board

Oh Sue - I am so sorry to hear about this. Can you get a tracker on the dog's trail? Call me. Can't find your number.

What pack of dogs? And yet another idiot on the blog.

My question is; if in one sentence Anonoymous says a pack of dogs and ends with "That woman needs to be investigated by the ASPCA and the dog confiscated.", which is it a pack or one bad dog?

Amen SueG!

Lttle Albert was found a few minutes ago, unfortunately he did
not make it, I am too upset right now to give details I just wanted
you all to know. RIP sweet Albert

I am so sorry, Sue G. My deepest sympathy to your friend.

Sue,

This news on Albert just breaks my heart. I am so sorry.

Poor little Albert. I'm so sorry Sue.

Oh Sue: I am so sorry. I prayed so hard that Albert would be found. My sympathy to his family. R.I.P sweet boy. Just so terribly sad.

How sad Sue. I'm so very sorry about the little guy.
xoxorooby

That was me (Margot) who posted at 12:39. Guess I was still shaken up over Albert. R.I.P. sweet boy.

I just started a candle site for little Albert. R.I.P. sweet boy.

Tears for little Albert and for his family. Please let them know the sadness this news brings to all of us.
Mila

Please let Alberts friends know that we are so sorry to hear about poor little Albert... :(

Please let Albert's family know that we are so sorry to hear about poor little Albert... :( our hearts go out to them tonight:(

SueG - I am so sorry to read this sad ending for little Alpert. I will be praying for Albert, and all of those that loved him so much. Unfortunately, being pack animals, sometimes dogs can turn like this. It is very fortunate your friend was not severely injured herself trying to protect poor little Albert. May he rest in Peace under God's loving care.

I hope you all can help me out. My friend just called, the one whose son has the mini doxie, Bella , and said that they need to find her a new home ASAP. Her son's wife is due with the fourth child anyday and they have 2 other dogs and Bella needs to be in a home where she will have more attention. I mentioned this before but then they had put a hold on it. She is 3years old, unspayed and loves attention. She would do good in a home with older children and getting more attention. I said I would e-mail all and you can e-mail me or answer on the blog. I will keep checking. I'll forward everything to my friend. I don't want to see Bella going to a shelter. Thanks to all of you.
Between the false hope about Vivi and the sad news about Albert, I'd like to help one little furry baby.
Susan

SUSAN: Has your friend contacted a Doxie Rescue. Tell her to just google it in and hopefully there will be one in her area. Good luck.

SUSAN - Deb S that helped with the doxie rescue a long time ago e-mailed me before about Bella. She had a possibility of one or two good homes. I'm going to e-mail her and copy you. Please contact her about this.

Hi!
Thank you for offering to help out. I forwarded all the information to her friend and she is calling her son to expect the e-mails. She relays her deepest thanks and says that all they want is for Bella to be in a loving, caring home. It's been hard for her son, Scott, to come to this decision to find Bella a new home since she is part of the family. We know how that is. I also sent him the link to this site.
Kathleen, it was great talking to you. Thank you for your help.
Susan L.

I meant forwarded the info. to my friend. Have to proof read before sending.

Where is Bella? What state?

xoxorooby

ROOOBY - I imagine Bella is in Connecticut as that is where Susan lives. Not sure though.

Thanks KathleenSsssss...It's always helpful to put the state down. Wish Bella was in Orlando Fl area..I have a friend who lost her 16 year old last year...I'll email her anyway.

xoxorooby

KathleenSsssssss again! I don't seem to have Susan L's email address, could you send it to me please...this is just in case my friend might be interested in Bella..I emailed her the info..

xoxorooby

Hi everyone,
Yes Bella , the mini-doxie lives in Southeastern, CT where I live. Rooby, e-mail me if your friend is interested. As I said before, I forwarded everything to Fran, whose son has Bella. After explaining to her whose e-mail belonged to who , and she already sent them to her son, I hope things will start moving along. As we pet owners know, it's so hard to have to find another home for a furry baby you love.

Susan,
I don't know your email address...do you know mine?
It starts with: Satcheln got it? Maybe email someone you know might have it...possibly KathleenSsssssss.
I think Ct might be too far for my friend to go...she's a teacher..She adored her little girl, Snicks and had her for many years..

xoxorooby

ROOBY - E-mailing Susan your e-mail address right now. I 'll copy you too.

If she wants to adopt Bella, I know a nice lady named Kelly who might could help us arrange the long-distance volunteer transport of Bella. She is the one I have helped a few times. We transported Snoopy, the German shorthair pointer, from Texas to Vermont. Let me know if you need her info to contact her about helping.

SUSAN: I was on the AKC website getting some Kennel Club info and checked out Doxie Rescue. Here is someone to contact for rescue:

Dachshund Club Of America
Emma Jean Stephenson...724-846-6745 (PA.)

Email: emmajean@timesnet.net

Thanks everyone for all you're doing for Bella. I have forwarded everything, including this blog to my friend, Fran, so she can send it to her son. I hope he responds to you. I'm the messanger and now it's up to him to take action. I am so thankful that I know all of you who are as animal crazy as me. I'm more stressed out about Bella than all of Fran's family put together and they love their pets and have rescued shelter dogs also.
Susan

I love seeing this again!! The troops coming out to help this little dog find a new home!! You ladies are phenominal!!!
Hugs, Mila

Hi Everyone!
I hope all humans and animals are staying safe during the run of the 3 storms.
I haven't heard anything about Bella since life is hectic there with the birth of my friend's first grandchild, a baby girl. I know that her son made contact with Deb so I'm hoping things will be moving along pretty soon.
Last night I saw the Dogtown show on Nat'l Geo. and it was about the pit bulls they are rehabbing from Michael Vick's place. Those people are angels and are changing the lives of these babies that went through such horrendous experiences. With love and the wonderful care they are giving them, I think many of them will be able to be adopted. I would love to go see Best Friends Sanctuary and volunteer there. They make miracles happen.
Keeping the faith for our Vivi, Jedda, and the other lost pets.
Great to read your post, Darlene. Glad to see the gang coming on to help. It is very appreciated.

Vivi could use some candles lite if you have time.

Just lit 4 candles for Vivi.........I think she has 11 candles burning...

VIVI COULD USE SOME CANDLES!

Posted for Betty:

I haven't been on the blog, but I wanted to let you guys know that there is another pet food recall. Go to www.petcare.mars.com.

Good morning Daddy God. We thank you for all of your blessings and loving care you have given to us so freely. Please bring Vivi out in the open. She needs to be home safe and sound and we need her so much. She is our heart. Daddy God, we ask your continuous blessings on her food, water and shelter that you provide for her every day. We know she is still out there and we know you are leading her home to rescue. Lead your children to her and bring her into the safe haven of their loving hearts. Miracles do happen and you are the one who brings them to pass. We are trusting in you and depending on you. We cling to your heart and hold tightly to your hand as we go where you lead us. Shine your light on Vivi and send her to us quickly. Welcome beloved Albert into your beautiful Kingdom. Give him kisses and hugs from all of us here and tell him we love him. Hold his beloved family in your arms and cuddle them close to your heart. Give them your comfort and show them that Albert is with you and they will all be together again in your glorious love and your divine eternal kingdom. Bring Jedda home safe and sound too dear Lord. How we love your creatures. They are so precious. Lead Jedda to rescue and home quickly and show her the way to go. Protect your creation from the food recall. Don't let it bring harm. Protect them in your Divine protection and healing grace. In Jesus's name we praise you!!.
