Nassau Democratic Chairman Jay Jacobs — who is also longshot gubernatorial candidate Tom Suozzi’s camapaign manager — said he will definitely attend the state Democratic convention in Buffalo next week.
“Absolutely. I love these things. I've got to do my job. I lead the delegation of state committee members (from Nassau),” he recently told Newsday's Celeste Hadrick. As for Tom Suozzi’s announced plan to boycott the convention, Jacobs said: “That's his thing as the candidate running for governor...I will absolutely be there, doing my job.”
