Hillary Slams Obama's Illinois "Present" Votes

In a second day of scathing attacks on Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton lambasted Obama for voting a neutral "present" instead of yes or no on a handful of key votes in the Illinois state senate dealing with abortion and gun control.

"As president you can't dodge the big fights," she told supporters in Clear Lake, Iowa, this afternoon. "A president can't pick and choose the challenges she faces."

Then she slammed him for skipping a vote this fall declaring Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization: Obama has criticized Clinton for voting yes, saying it’s the first step to invasion.

Does anyone understand that Obama has no credentials for US President?

I mean....He is still wet behind the ears....Great on his feet and such, but come on....

He was an Illionis "State senator" just two years ago! His job was to do Baby Seat Laws, New Park Dedications, Street Namings etc...

Clearly a Media Made Candidate. Perhaps in the next round in 4-8 years.

My oh my. It sure looks like Mr. Kelly is afraid of Sen. Obama. Could it be that he realizes Obama would be the strongest Democratic candidate and the one most likely to win the general election? I, for one, have tremendous respect for Obama's judgment and his thoughtful positions on the key issues. He is intelligent, straightforward, honest and visionary. Plus, I'm convinced that Obama is the only candidate of either party who has the ability to bring about real, transformational change in the way our governement is run. I trust him to put the people's interests before the special interests -- unlike Hillary and any of the Republicans.

RE: "I, for one, have tremendous respect for Obama's judgment" (Above comment)

Judgment? On what?
When was he ever tested?
Was he a Governor who has worked with other Federal branches in time of serious problems?
Nor has he been tested in the US Senate.

He is wet behind the ears with no knowledge of issues on a National level.

Although as a former "State Senator" he does know about Street Namings and such.
He is a Media Made Man.

I agree with Concerned Citizen. It sure looks like Jim is afraid of Obama's candidacy. I take this as further evidence that Obama will be the strongest Democratic candidate. Also, a recent national poll (Zogby i believe) shows hillary Clinton losing to the top 5 Republican candidates while Obama beats all 5 Republicans. Talk about electability!!
