In the mailer to the left, dropping in Wisconsin, the Clinton campaign continues to disseminate a longstanding distortion of the Obama health plan -- that it would somehow exclude needy people. It's the same distortion they put in a TV ad last week.
The truth: Obama's plan seeks to make health care affordable for everyone, and anyone who wants to be covered is supposed to be able to get coverage. However, unlike Clinton, he does not require people who don't want it to pay for it any way. An estimated 15 million would opt out under Obama's plan, and there's a legitimate difference on whether the mandate in Hillary's plan would be a better approach.
Because he allows people to not get health insurance, it's bogus for Obama to claim his plan is "universal." But the idea that he singles out people who "don't deserve" health care is a total fraud which the Clinton campaign seems to feel free to repeat.
Obama supporter Ted Kennedy today calls it "fear mongering," says: "The point of this ad is to undermine people's belief that Barack Obama is committed to universal healthcare, and that is simply a distortion, a misrepresentation." Wisconsin Gov. James Doyle: “I’m also very troubled by this mailer…it represents how Sen. Clinton has conducted herself in Wisconsin.”

let the record be know, regardless of our personal differences as american people, likes and dislikes of a candidate running for office. if you remove our participation in the matter as a voter out of the equation and just look at the character being displayed by both nominees, what would your honest opinion be on Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Look at the records: one candidate is being tossed to and fro since super tuesday reacting like a kid that was told she is on punishment and can't come out and play until she gets her act together...the other a supposed rookie is taking on feverish contentions and ridicule from a former 8 yr president, their daughter and clinton campaign management only to stand up like a man take it on and continue to win...reminds me of the florida gator mens basketball team. odds against them freshmen and sophomores but still assembled a TEAM that could withstand adversities and come out on top to back to back NCAA division 1 championships....Kind of looks like Barack Obama doesn't it. In reality, regardless of who i elected or who you elected...if we had only their character to look at to make a decision over these last 2 months before and after super tuesday...who could you really trust? between the 2 democrats: one is consistently delivering a message that the american people unanimously agree to support, the other is a sore looser who doesn;t care about the people that is supporting her...she would rather take the political approach (TRADITION) Aand put her trust in the political process of super delegates versus the vote of the american people....HEY HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS....YOU CAN HONESTLY SAY TO YOURSELF THAT YOU CAN TRUST A PERSON THAT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR VOTE OR OPINION..she is candidly and blatantly showing us the american people her true character: "I hillary clinton trust my super delegate cronies and no disrespect to my hispanic immigrants from mexico and cuba...but i DESPERATELY NEED THE SPANISH VOTER OVER NATIVE AMERICANS....this sounds like a person who has thrown in the towel, who has given up, who has run out of cash and run out of gas....HEY AMERICA THIS IS JUST PRIMARIES...what if she is in office...IS THIS THE REPRESENTATION THAT WE NEED TO PROGRESS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.....NOT!!!!!!!! What's wrong with Clinton? She has sunk so low now that I am ashamed she is a part of the Democratic Party. The Clinton campaign is far worse in their attacks and just because the Obama camp does not point its finger on Clinton doesn't mean they are playing foul.
Shame on you Clinton, you have shown us your true colors today. I think Obama should spend more time meeting people and less time debating with such a corrupt woman.
Well, I have always been s strong supporter of Bill Clinton, but cannot say the same for Hillary. I am very disappointed by both of the Clinton's behavior. I thought Bill did a descent job, but the kind of actions he has exhibited make me want to throw his autographed book I was saving into the fire place.
I am "sick" with disappointment, but won't be using Hillary's Health Plan.
